I bought the game today....After the install and server checked the serial....I don't have to put the dvd in to play. Great game...EXBob is a hoot!!!

Hi peeps this is my first post here so go easy on me lol.
zellar a guy Called Tectics over @ http://suprbay.org/showthread.php?t=50914&page=153 was looking for somebody who could make a 1:1 clone of the disc in order to make some kind of Tages mini image to test his theories as he thinks it's similar to the tages used on the witcher, and maybe get a workaround to get the game finally cracked, it hasnt been proven that this will or not work because he hasnt had a good image to work with thus far.
So if you or anybody else who has bought this game retail wants to help out head over there and make a post or PM him please, if we all work together then who knows maybe we can beat this bitch.

Hm, if this works, I might consider buying a boxed version.  I don't mind playing with the disk inside as long as I can play the game forever.

I have never used Direct2Drive so I have a question on a possible scenario.
Could a friend of mine and myself go halfs money wise then if I signed up, logged in, bought the game, downloaded it, then used one of the three activations, and played the game.
Could my friend do the same if I gave him the Username for my D2D account?
Neither of us give a rat's ass about the multiplayer.
Would that leave one more activation left, also?
On a side note: I saw on eBay that a guy was selling his remaining 2 activations along with the serial and the DVD. He was up front stating that he used one of the DRM activations.

@ Bkarza : i got an direct2drive account ( gta iv) .
And , i can dl the archive when i want from d2d server .. So your 'scenario' is possible i think.

Yes it's possible. I have two games on my D2D account, both with direct download links and an Activemark "activation" process upon installation. I recently gave the link AND the key to to one of the games to a friend - who activated it fine.

A lot of sites sell "just CD key" and they do it at substantially less cost too .. you can get "just CD key" titles for up to 75% cheaper than most other places.
I'd also like the name of the site that sells Dark Athena keys for €18.

Those are sites which buy games in such countries as Russia for example, games are cheap there, around 15 euro new, even cheaper if you but alot of games at once, so they can resell CD Keys and get a profit. The problem is, Dark Athena will NOT be released in Russia anytime soon to avoid reselling of cheap keys via internet
I dont think there are sites where you can buy Dark Athena keys cheap.

If it is true (i don't have a reason to deny this) that the game will not be released the next couple of months in Russia then we say goodbye to a scene release.Seems that Atari we'll give it for free in 5-6 months.

im wondering how they would get the keys to be able to sell them at that price. they could probably get away with selling the same key multiple times.
