Shit, AI on hard is actualy hard, didn't tried nightmare yet.
It's fun that achievements give items that stay over games.

well - it`s actually pretty hard if u start now.
complex gameplay and itembuilds - and 90+ heros; needs some time to get used to.
I still play dota almost every day. and I play it since several years. still fun!

i didn't like dota cause i really suck ass in it, the learning curve is steep. this game is alot of fun to me, atleast i can win now.

Do we know if Demigod will get further heroes? Have any plans been put in place for content patches?

Just a FYI, the 0-day patch was ready before release, it was the first patch you were prompted to download when first registering the game.
Fully updated your Demigod should be 1.00.0091, this is the version that was included in the RADIANCE release, meaning that what you got now is the newest version of the software, any improvements they are talking about are already implemented, though further improvements are coming later today to migrate to a new server system.

Right, i was able to buy it and checked it, files are the exact same size.

I'm pretty sure that version number is 1.00(And a few more zeroes).091 and not 0.091 with the initial version being similar to the above but a .045 or 0.54 at the end.

Its really easy to check. Pick one change from that 0day changelog.. say
Rook
* Base Health reduced from 1989 to 1900
Then enter the game and check his HP
Do the same for the rest of the changes

I've just been playing it - did my first SP tournament and my GOD the game is fun! I was just about to go to Impulse to buy it .. then I saw the bloody price >_>
I think I'll wait a few weeks. $50 for the collector's edition and $40 for digi-download.

Kinda overpriced for half a game.. I mean MP, skirmish, tournaments are all fun but either make a SP campaign as well or drop that price in half imo

The game was made neither for SP nor skirmish, it´s for playing against other people, same as in dota, or q3a or ut for that matter.
I played some 3vs3matches yesterday and it´s a complete different experience, i´m sure 5v5 rocks.

Why waste time developing a half assed campaign that no one will play (or maybe play once) when you can spend the same time polishing the multiplayer aspect which is the game's main focus? Also, since its Stardock, you can expect free
content patchs" quite often...

So which demigod is your favourite? I have only tried the healer and the crossbowman so far, and I liked the crossbowman better. He gets really good when you upgrade range and buy a weapon. Fun to snipe down the enemy demigods.
