it will go to require the impulse client for multiplayer and updates so i don't guess that hamachi can work |
Did already play it on some random hamachi server so it surely works

Umm one question, anybody else's game freezes after the intro movies?
Mine (Devise) freezes after the intro movies, tried both copying everything from the iso and running it from there also running the the exe from the mounted iso, no dice.

happened twice, once after the intro movie, second time at the loading screen; but it works fine now

All i did was changing the video settings from high to medium, not sure if that was the reason for the freezes but whatever, it works so far..

@Frogboy|Work There are, right now, 30,000+ people "playing" Demigod. Even in single player, the friends sstuff and all that is active.

@Frogboy|Work We have...a solution to the pirated version anyway.
@Frogboy|Work We can release an update where we link legitimate users to a new series of servers.
@Frogboy|Work and then we turn off the old servers.
Seems like the game does some callback to their servers and their servers are overloaded with people connecting. Thats why people are getting stuck in menus.

Just one demigod, assassins are dmg dealers and generals can control minions or use auras, it depends on the build.

You control a demi god. An assassin is just 1 creature, if you play a general you can summon 6 minions. With that you have to complete objectives, usually destroying the other fortress. From portals on either side of the map mobs will also spawn and auto attack the opposing side. There's no base building but you can spend gold to upgrade your fortress (and strengthen your reinforcements) and buy items for your Demigod. Check gametrailers, it has some pretty informative movies on the subject. Took a bit of getting used to, but I love it now. Even bought it an hour orso ago.

They're gonna release a new update today, which will switch legit users to a new server while pulling the plug on the server with all the warez users.

What´s the point of the "online protection" if the exe has no protection at all and u can rip the patches?

Just had a quick game, seems simple enough but I still have a few questions!
- Do any items remain from battle to battle?
- Do reinforcements just constantly come while you have the portals?
I must say, I was expecting more.. I thought the game would be far more tactically involved but it doesnt really feel that way.. The gameplay feels a lot like an MMO, click action, click area, repeat.. Nothing much more too it :\.. Maybe I'm missing something :\

Reinforcements keep comming as long as there's portals.
Items don't remain except for special reward items.
