I thought it was a well done movie and it actually deserves the praise it gets. I think people just hate on it because it's that gay director that people don't like.

I don't know anyone who has anything against Danny Boyle.
The only problem was that the story was contrived and sappy as fuck.

I love boyles movies... but I saw 20 seconds of slumdog and that part was supposed to be funny but I found it incredibly dull. I'll MAYBE look it one day when there is nothing else left. Going to watch house s5ep21 today.
