cannot believe HL2 has twice as many votes as the others... wtf
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

how is it trolling. if your too stupid to see the story, you should stick to doom 3 or barbie games that are a bit simpler.

Should these stupid people also just ignore the lacklustre repetitive gameplay, the unimagintive level design, the sub-par graphics and just concentrate on the object physics and character's facial animation? Let's face it, that's about the only thing it's got going for it.
I simply cannot fathom why people are placing such a mediocre game on some kind of pedestal for it's apparent greatness.

these three games are just excellent
ut2k4 is just flat out fun
hl2 of course, by default, is top three just cus of that damn cool engine!
far cry...beautiful environments, mediocre story, still awesome.

UT2K4 - too much fun!
All the games on the list were great except DOOM3, which was a pile of tripe and not really a game. I can't believe they have the balls to sell an expansion pack for a TECH DEMO! They must really love sticking it to the fanboys.

For me, it´s Far Cry. Huge outdoor areas to explore. Monsters sucked, but game was decent even with them  .
