GRIN is pretty awesome, but I think that Raven is a really good dev, as well.

Ooh, look at you, you're so fucking edgy and hardcore. That's some deep insight into gaming right there, dude.

Hey, guess what: All RTSes are basically "Press right mouse button," "Press left mouse button," "Press left mouse button," "Press right mouse button," "Press left mouse button," "Press left mouse button."

The developers have said they're not including any quick time events in the game. My guess is that you have a modicum of control during the sequence in the video, and can move around the helicopter to avoid attacks etc.

Go play the game before you make such claims.

All games are controlled animations...

Seriously, aside from interactive fiction (i.e., the old Zork games), that's the exact definition of a videogame.

Code:
Just like The Force Unleashed, they don't show the big "Press this button now" quick time event helper. This is one big quick time event

this GT commenter has a good point
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36697.html
no buttons in the PR BS movie
when in reality
http://www.gameanyone.com/video/113379
you had like 36 buttons to press (this sequence starts from 7:00)
if you wanted to finish this QTE

Wolverine is going to rule!! Raven has been working on this game for 2.5 yrs! From what I have seen this may be a unique instance where the game is better than the movie. Cannot wait to play this! I also read that kids need-not-apply-within!!!!!! No EWOKS here!!! There will be blood, limbs and adult gameplay in this game!

Wolverine Origins Weapon X Arena

Here we get to see some of the gameplay in challenge rooms for the upcoming Wolverine game. And finally we see some blood and gore.

I guess the "no quicktime!!!! NO QUICKTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!!" cries of the developers turned out to be lies, afterall, judging by the end of the video.

"Press X to rip off his head"

It sure as hell won't stop me playing the game, because it looks awesome fun -- but a it would have looked better if we had the truth and not some glossed over explanation about how it's NOT quicktime events.

It should if it properly follows the Origin aspect of the movie. Only thing is that he isn't Wolverine at that point so the gameplay would be weird. Maybe they will do it in a cutscene.

Well I'll be damned. The PC/PS3/360 version of the game (aka, the "Uncaged Edition") is rated M. Didn't see that coming. Very, very strange to see an M-rated game, that's supposed to tie into a PG-13 rated movie. Glad to see that they let the developer have that sort of free reign, I suppose. Game is out in 12 days!

Given the... uhhh... "visceral" nature of the trailer, I'm not surprised it's an M - and I'm GLAD for it too. No censored nonsense here, please, just gimme the blood and gore!

He has his bone claws or so I've heard. Usual Hollywood raping of comic book canon.

Oh also, Deadpool is apparently not very Deadpooly at all.
