I uninstalled the game after I finished it so I don't know if the sound files used in the game are playable format, try exploring the folders till you find "sound" folder

Most story missions are easily completed in a rather short amount of time but if you do side missions you'll probably add a couple of hours of gameplay but each type of side mission plays the same and the unlocks are the same. (Different rewards for each mission type of course but stuff like escape, hot-potato, race and taxi all play the same mission from mission even though location differs and the requirements to hit better ranks increase.)

Unsure if I'm close to the end but it only took a few hours to unlock most of the map via story missions and it seems to be wrapping up now, probably only a few missions left.

It's not like GTA IV with a ton of story missions and a lot to explore though the gameworld is very open but with not much to do aside from side missions for extra unlocks and story missions to advance the actual game.
(Can smash gold lion statues as well for some odd reason, likely a achievement/trophy for the X360 and PS3 edition respectively.)

@xGAME007: Why you give the game a 2/10 when you completed it? Is this a joke? I would never complete a game which I rate with 20%.

Yeah, what gives xGAME007, 2/10 means you must have at least been close to hating it but you still completed it?

Guys, if you wanna play with a pad and don't have a 360 one, just use XBOX360 Controller Emulator v3.0. Works wonders for this and other games that are locked out to 360 pad only.

i completed this game late yesterday (the story mission only; none of the side stuff). it's a fun game to play while you're doing stuff in the car (car chases, jumps, turns, air-jacking, etc.). but when you're on foot, you feel like the developers tacked this on later in the game dev stage. while the on foot mechanics aren't bad, it's just not very good. your character can't climb over walls or fences or do anything fancy other than sprinting (can't jump or slide). it's as if the developer started with a racing game then decided to make it more GTA like later.

i do like how you can jump right into the story mission without having to drive to the destination. the air jacking is nice when your current vehicle is flaming from too many gun shot holes and you need a new vehicle fast. it keeps the action going without having to stop your vehicle and go find a new one.

what's annoying is that even when you use nitro somehow your enemy vehicle can keep up with you. i guess you create some kind of force that pulls the enemy vehicle closer to you...yeah, right.

overall, this is not a bad game. i'll probably try to complete the side missions and what not.

UE3 does contain several settings that can be adjusted either ingame or via the various INI files, however this game uses a different format for settings and savegames from what I remember so you can't alter more than what the ingame options allow, unsure what your video card is (Intel or AMD) but I guess you're also limited a bit by it if it's integrated and on the low-end of hardware.
(Laptop computers can be very good if you're willing to spend a bit of cash but the video card is often sub-standard or even built in sharing system memory, soundcard can also be a bit weak but that doesn't affect things nearly as much as the video card can.)

Sorry but I don't think you can do much about it. Sad

oh well, it happens. 10x JB for answering.
the video card is integrated (Intel GMA 4500HD) and it does have some sort of system sharing memory. can't say more cos i really don't know.
