Yeah, tell me about it. Now the only people I trust with stuff like are family and close, RL, friends that I've known for years. The internet makes you a jaded person >_>

=Edit=

Sweet Jesus. NOW I know why nobody talked about this game beforehand, even though it's been in beta for 7 months. It's because it's fucking APPALLING! Absolutely hideous in every possible way!

*Laggy as hell. You can unload a clip at an enemy (bunny-hoppers unite!!) and miss with every shot as the server doesn't register them.

*EVERY item in the game - be it a weapon, a piece of clothing, a skill upgrade or even a goddamn HEALTH KIT, costs you money and also has a time-limit on how it can be used for! Fancy paying $30-40 a month to give your character a full set of clothes? Didn't think so.

*Despite repeated protests of "veteran" players (no doubt unwilling to admit to having the upper hand due to time spent) - higher level Heroes do CONSIDERABLY higher damage. A low-level Hero with the "standard" SMG will do 5-10 damage. Higher level players? 25-35. Yet point this out to anyone and expect to be immediately flamed and attacked by all the "vets" as they call you a liar.

*The audio is beyond ridiculously. Each sound effect is comedic to the point of lunacy and is insanely silly. I'm all for a joke or a "fun" game, but when that "fun game" suddenly starts reminding you of a fucking CIRCUS with a bunch of clowns gambolling around in baggy trousers, throwing pies at each other? Sorry, I just don't like it. Gunfire and cannon shells have stupid little "splat" and "whoop" sounds to them and being hit by said gunfire produces a sound similar to the WANKNESS of Quake 3's hit sound effects "ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh" Lovely.

*The forum is full of people posting a ludicrous number of bugs and gameplay issues - and more often than not they get flamed by the "vets" again, rather than being helped or having their grievances addressed. A large number of members set up a "Boycott Battlefunds" scheme (BF are ingame currency that you have to buy with REAL currency - and they're massively overpriced, not to mention that every item you buy with them has a time limit. 7 days or 30 days) and were immediately hated upon by, again, the "vets"

They seem to believe that paying $20-30 a month to clothe one of your characters is not only acceptable, but also FAIR pricing from EA/Dice, and anyone that disagrees is a whiney little child - pouting about not being able to use their parents' credit cards.

One of the Boycott ideas called for those in favour to play NAKED. To remove all clothing and just run around naked until BF was reduced in price, or items were made permanent instead of 7/30 day temporary. A lot of people loved this idea and agreed. Lnow what EA did in retaliation? Started CHARGING MONEY to go naked. Yep, also a "timed" item. So now you pay to wear NOTHING and then have to pay AGAIN to keep wearing nothing.

Seriously, I will NOT be continuing with this game. Thanks for the key, EA, but you can stick it up your arse. Korean MMOs may have lag and micro-management, but ffs.. it's nothing like this.

Meh, its pretty fun. I don't have the lag issues you're describing at all...

The cost for everything is overpriced though.. If they adjust that it could be fun.

Most likely because I'm in Europe and the servers are in America, but I'm telling you mate.. the lag was there and it's VERY noticable.

Yea but... if you're in europe and the server for ANY game is in NA, the lag is gonna be horrible and of course noticeable... I had very good latency...

Just saw some gameplay videos of this and it's too kiddy for me. No seriously, the gfx/style suck. Sounds are irritating after a minute. Also, the jumping is ridiculous. And game microtransactions are laaame.

I'm starting to think Phluxed has really low expectations for multi games, which is worrying about Global Agenda, too.

P.S.: This is the bastard child of Battlefield and Team Fortress 2 and looks like it was made by an small-time indie developer in half a year.

Bullshit.

Weapons, skill upgrades, Health kits, Wrench kits, can be bought by the in game currency that YOU earn by completing mission etc.

Clothes do cost money so that the only thing you got right in that statement.

Regarding the smg damage. There is a difference depending on 2 factors

Factor 1. close range Smg / long range smg.
Factor 2. Skill level of burning bullet.

Could be improved when the "locating your skill lvl and lvl thingy actually works"

Lag, not so much, it has improved a little.

Nah, I'm just very open minded. I never said its a tonne of fun or anything, in fact, I said it COULD be fun.. .which it could be.

Every single item in the game has a 7 or 30 day timer, both for "VP" or REAL money. Or did I get that wrong too, Mr DiCE? Rolling Eyes

You got it wrong man.. there are some items with unlimited on them... The new costumes and stuff... It's still completely idiotic. I love the simple gameplay and unlocks.. but the costs and the timers is retarded.

Actually, that was a bit of an over exaggeration on my part.. I've seen SIX items that are "unlimited" -- that's it.

The worst thing is mate, before open-beta .. BattleFunds were cheaper and there were barely a handful of limited items (this is from the official forum, before someone attempts to contradict me)

Now the beta is open, the cost of BF has doubled and almost all the items are limited. Joy.

This still has got to be the biggest "W_T_H were they thinking!?" upcoming game of the year.

I can't see any half serious BF-series game fan touch this with a spoon.

Bwahaha

Of course. Since I disagreed with you I must be a mascot for a evil corporation like micro err I mean EA err Dice! (phew got it right)

Must be something like a knee jerk response in order to claim that my post has no validity. Rolling Eyes

You got the timer right, that's why I did not bother with it. I should have been more clear of course, and added that you got the "time limit" right. (I think that they have changed the time limit though, can't be sure, have not logged on to the beta site)

I don't really care for the timer though, because I'm not going to spend any money to "pimp" my character, I may be a moron, but I'm not fucking retarded. However

It was a totally "fucked" up decision to
1. have people in beta PAY money to use clothes. (I thought we was supposed to "test" things. Being "privileged" to buy things to test them is something I can do without.)
2. Have a time limit on the clothes (I wonder who's the mad/drunk Douche bag that thought that was a good idea?)

And it's not to hard to "earn" the in game currency to purchase the weapons again and again and again, it might be a pain, but it kinda gives you a goal.

The game isn't perfect, but it's fun some times.

(Infact, Bf:H was more fun before the major patch that made the hit boxes become fubared) Rolling Eyes

(oh and I do not work for Dice, I wish I did, but I really lack the credentials.)

I wasn't, nor am I, angry at you mate - and if my post came off like that, then I apologise. I was more angry at the game and the way it's being run, to be honest, and sometimes my anger can spread a little and I come off harsh to bystanders >_<

Just wanted to clear that up.
