Hi there ! Just installed the game with the update 2 and it looks to work fine except for the sound. It often disappears and comes back a few seconds later.

Has any of you experienced this issue ?

Medieval 2 patches were always delayed, and we are talking months of delays, so bad i sold it. just a heads up.

Its possible to hack units so you get lower cost, larger gun range and so on. Suprisingly theres not a lot of people using it.

Even with that MP is best since first medieval. I'm hooked, 100 wins, 7 stars and on good road to the 8th. Mr. Green

So all wins and losses are recorded or just wins? I dare not venture onto MP at this if it records losses at this time if there are hackers. Last thing I need is to face a 50 foot radioactive George Washington and look like a bad general for losing to it.

No you don't get it. You can cheat by changing unit stats. But there is very little people doing this. Its not like in some shooting games where one know hack causes all servers to have at least one player with aimbot, or something like that. In all my games i've played, i've seen maybe 2 or 3 cheaters and even those I easily beat because they didn't know how to play the game. And you also have ranked and unranked matches, so you can play those for as long as you want.

Biggest problem with mp now are number of maps and unbalanced mortars. So if you are new to the game just play unranked games and ask for no mortars in every game that you play. You will still get occasional asshole with laser guided mortar battery but quits wont effect your rating.

ps. mortars are not hacked, they are laser guided by default Very Happy

The whole 50 foot George Washington thing was a joke I know what you meant. I guess I'll go give MP a try right now.

wow this game is worse than addiction. yesterday I finally set out to play the grand campaign. Two hours in, my 2 year old jumped onto my lap and wanted me to put some nursery rhyme video. I refused and she hit some keys which caused the game to crash. I slapped her on the face, and her lips are now all swollen. Now she refuses to come near me and my wifey's stopped talking to me. I fear a nasty divorce coming along soon. I wonder if I should try to play it again tonight!!!!
