Yeah, that's what I've been doing until this patch came out, I tried to start the game but an error popped up =/ |
Do you have any mods / trainers or custom config files / settings installed? If so, you might need to reinstall the game. The error you are speaking about occured to... err... legit owners of the game also. Reinstalling the game fixed the issue. |

Also, if you're getting WS10 errors -- check this out, direct from Rockstar Tech Support on their official forum (posted last YEAR, so it's a known bug)

Hm. I guess "sucks" is the word here. Also for the fact that even after a reinstall one still can't get past the activation crap, no matter what launcher is used.

Wait, seriously? That's bizarre, bud, I only reinstalled GTA4 about 4 or 5 days ago .. and straight away I used this "Grand.Theft.Auto.IV.v1.0.2.0.Update-RazorDOX" and it ran like a dream, no activation nonsense.
.... which reminds me. I'm an idiot. Check your PMs in a sec, because I think I upped the wrong one to you >_<

I guess Sabin did. But his GTA IV copy is a magical, ilogical, out-of-this-world version, as we can't get to copy him in (t)his workaround process, no matter how helpfull and good-willing was.

Well if you read again, more careful, one of my PM's, you'll see that I was referring to the 1.0.3.0 version.
Well it doesn't matter anyway now. It's pretty clear that another cr... erm... no-dvd is needed. |

AHHHHH!!!
I went to play my razor release, using "Grand_Theft_Auto_IV_v1.0.2.0_Update-RazorDOX"
It says - YES/NO to update - click NO - you will be offline.
Well, I went to play Fallout 3 - and it says my key is invalid!
What should i do now? Do I update GTA4? Is my key from Warhammer now invalid?

I had the same thing with FO3 the other day, said key was invalid. I just typed the same key in again (Club key) and it worked fine.

Try today again with same key..
I just tried 2 different keys -both invalid - for FO3.. It seems Microsoft just released an update today--killing the keys. Im using the Warhammer BETA key, Dawn of War...Not sure if its same as a club key.
