					| |
					| I'm about to reinstall this amazing game and i was wondering: since the game is 5 years old, is there a patch or a mod released which makes it look graphically better ?
 links would be appreciated.

 thanks.

Well, I played only single player and I found it amazingly boring and repetitive. The good ol' Privateer was FAR better.

What I liked, on the other hand, were the great graphics. On the gameplay side, though, I was very disappointed.

					| A freelancer 2 would be GREAT!
I had so many hours fun online (and offline) with Freelancer.

 I hate you.

					| did anyone else think that freelancer had a VERY open ending? i mean open to the point where u think that the game was made with a franchise in mind? i remember feeling like i was only getting half the story, and that a sequel would show up within a 2 or so years.... but nothing ever came... | |

dunno never played much of the single player campaign, i just went straight to multiplayer with some friends and we had alot of fun pirating the spacelanes.

i would have imagined the game was more than popular enough for a sequel although i have no idea how well it sold, there seemed to be loads of clan servers around

					| I never played it multiplayer, guess I missed out because I found the singleplayer pretty bland. | |

					| The official support for the game expired. Use X-fire to find servers. | gingerninjaaaaaa wrote: | | I've just downloaded and installed this. There's no servers?

The game is 5-6 years old, so obviously not. At least not official ones.

one thing is discussion another is asking for links for mods for 5 yo game which can be easily found via g00gle, hey but that's just me

it was maybe a cool game before but all those fight's getting pretty repetitive in time, even with mods which can be pretty bugged up it's still same game that it was 5 ya

for example i just tried to do some deliveries but got asked to drop cargo every time i entered new system, which is pretty lame considering i was in good relationship with everyone

					| Considering some cargo is illegal in some places, it makes sense for the police to scanya.

never heard of water being illegal

and i wasn't scanned before i asked to drop a cargo so it's obvious that they are the pirates with whom i'm on a good side

it's like robing your relatives, doesn't make sence

					| Plenty of pirate factions around, could've been a different faction which was unfriendly with your friendly pirate faction, thus unfriendly with you.
