You'll pick it up; pretty soon you'll be scanning down your own confused targets and showing them your new-found experience at the helm.
Just lost my rifter due to an 'intel-hiccup'. *facepalm*
Two assault frigates from the same corp do not fight one another.
Had quite the short skirmish earlier versus a Thorax (a gallente cruiser of great reknown), I was sorely outclassed in my rifter but I did manage to pull away just before I was vaporized by a squad of Valkyrie IIs. (I think in my ignorance I forgot to turn on my afterburner which is why I got torn up by medium drones?)
Survived with 1/3rd hull remaining on the ship, with a corp mate arriving just in time to bail me out.
I have to admit my heart was about to fucking burst from adrenaline in that battle.

I were out roaming with 10 alliance members yesternight when we found a comparably sized gatecamp we decided to attack. When we entered the scene they escaped. We started killing their bubbles then prepared to leave when one of our scouts engaged a battleship on another gate in the same system. We quickly warped to his aid killed the BS and they started pouring in with reinforcements. Our FC decided to run.
I tried overloading my Deimos to get out of warp disrupt range, but the bastards kept draining my cap. Got shot up. Lost a 150 million ISK ship, but it was a good fight. Nothing like EVE.

I rolled a trial account for giggles earlier and ive been in atron with 2 rails or 2 blasters for a long time now, no deaths,, im currently past that wolf tutorial thing and on the new epic arc missions for sistsers of eve.. atron is a good ship, if u want to have some giggles, aim for training the Taranis interceptor sometime (atrons bigger brother) and you can have some fun hulk killing in that running circles around the mining barges...

AFAIK the navies are for RvR warfare. So if you don't want to PvP yet, I would say don't join.
As for ammo, well, buy a few thousand raounds and you're set. They take up insanely little amount of cargo space and are just as cheap. Reloading gun supposed to be quite fast so with enough rounds, you can easily do several missions before you would need to restock.

Oh getting the Ammo aint the Issue, but the 150MMs only hold 40 Rounds each, and i dont think you can reload them if you have the Ammo in your Cargo?

Where do I get this so called chain mission to kill Wolf? Also, the new system is awkward. I started a new game, and I couldn't choose my attributes or starting skills or anything. Also, not having 800k in SP at the start is heartbreaking Though the 100% learning rate is nice, I do like it this way more, but it took awhile to get used to.
Here's the thing, I did the beginning tutorial (even though I knew how to fly and how to dock and shit, the free skill books were nice). That led me to a station with a tutorial agent that offered 2 missions. Then I went back and did the Military 10 mission chain netting a few more books and ships. I skipped the other two, as the first mining mission looked boring and the courier ones are just duuuuuullllll. They probably give you more skills though so I should probably do them, right?
After all that, I got sent to a lvl 1 ql -11 agent and I've just been doing missions for him. I guess I'm out of the tutorial now? Do I get more storyline missions later as my standings go up? Will story agents contact me or do I have to go find them?
Last but not least, is there an nForce in game chat channel?
i can has computar?!

This new skill system is pretty neat.
It seems that every character gets 2 attribute respec option at start. Obviously a max INT and MEM will give a consierable boost to the learning skills so they can be dealt with much more quickly than before. After they are done, we can spec towards the path we want the character to take.
Really handy...

Its ok i tested it out earlier and said 2 times remaining.,., i altered my stats only by 2 or so somewhere and bam I now have no more to use Im wondering if 2 times means 2 diff skills to change lol.. No biggie the allowable changes are minimum when ur really young in the game.. stats are pretty much even for me across the board all but charm or whatever that last one was, never remember it lol not even after 4 years with eve lol.

I altered much more than 2 points and I still have one use (it says "NOW" which means I can alter it...well...now).
It seems that every character gets a respec every 12 months so not even a completely screwed up build is hopless. I'm really glad they didn't choose to go with the retarded item-shop approach with this one.
I wonder if old characters got their respective respecs for their years of playing.

New creations get two complete remaps. The only restriction is you have to have a minimum of 5 attribute points in each category, otherwise, you can remap the character entirely.
My 2004 character only had one remap.

Yep, old characters get no special benefits. It is assumed that the people owning them actually have a clue, whereas new people will screw up.

Just got my Thorax. It's a nice boat but, despite the fact that it's ugly as hell, I think I'll switch to a battlecruiser soon. Not much extra training and a lot more tank and fitting space.

Go for the bigger brothers of the thorax.. battleships are ok but they aint all that just cause its a battleship etc..
you can have a lot of fun in a Diemos or variants of the kind as long as you dont hit a warp bubble..

Join a PVP corp and they'll most likely take you to skirmishes. Lone wolves are easy pickings, you'll never experience the real PVP without a decent group to back you up. Until then, you'll always get blown out of your capsule because others are always hunting in groups.
