But what does this razor update fix, maybe it has some sound updates so that would conflict with the 700mb sound fix.

Trying to install the rzr update 2, and it says that there are files missing or not the ones expected so no update was done on all files but sounds_fx.pack...is this normal?

Did you throw the razor files from their original release ? (in the razor folder inside one of the isos)

my friends said when they play grand campaing around year 1709 or 1729 , game crash . They use razor + update2 . Anyone in here have same problem ?

nope no problem and im in year 1780 ish in grand campaign.

i have 2 questions
1) there is some way to play this game on lan? even with the loader or something?
2) this game is allegedly to have gfwl but is never showed up ?

G(ames)F(or) W(windows) L(ogo) != Windows Live, so why should it show up ?

I think you have to get them to trade areas of the global map, which means any that isn't India, Europe or North America.

To the "squares" at the map. Any will "do". But be sure to protect your "traders" or else  .Just sail for the region looking like this.
and then you will find this
select what "zone/area" you want to trade with...
and you will see this (within a turn)
check out the "anchor" marks. If occupied fight them!/or do another route. Or head for another "square" ...and trade there  .

because usually the games that use this system, the bar is always shows up
But anyway dont know L was for Logo and not for Live

For LAN you will need at least one legit copy then do this:

its farily simple to use, just install click block in all the boxes, the one issue i had is the standard block lists dont work so youll need "http://tbg.iblocklist.com/Lists/PrimaryThreats.zip"
which you extract into the lists directory inside your PeerGuardian folder then open PeerGuardian click List Manager, then Add, then select the PrimaryThreats.txt file, then you should be able to host a LAN game on this PC and join from your
legitimate account!!!! =) please tell me if anythings wrong im not great at explaining these things lol

Okay... i finally found myself some time to install this game ....
I got myself the Razor release and the Razor update 2.
As dumb as i am i installed directly from their setup while mounted with deamon tools.
I figure out now their are problems while installing this way and you need to copy all files to your harddrive first ( temp folder ). As soon i start now the installation from there the installer continues where it stopped before. I tried deleting the Install directory allready but still no succes.
The installer seems to get a loop if i start it again.
Any ideas ??

1 -" thx" for a "ban" - 4 days read only .... requesting WHERE ? ????
back seems that dvd installation when is broken could damage installation that even steam cant fix it
few pages ago - i post about error with "game version differ from host" - i reisntalled etc and it wont works steam had verified the files and didint show any errors - i was using no mods etc
i fixed it by deleting EVERY file releated to ETW - even outside steam and installing this tme not from DVD but from steam itself (4 th time anyway ... PITA 60 gb download to get one game work ... ) this time game worked - i checked CRC/MD5 sums from old install - all match but there was something somewhere that invalidated my legit version
now i can play online with "preorder units" mod and no troubles if the game crash at install (or dont ask for 2 dvd ) there is HIGH probability that even legit verion wont work as it should ....
