And apparently cannons can wipe out evrything infront of them, i hade like straight lines threw 12 infantry units when they cannons tried to shoot the enemy. and i hade alot of cannons *whine*
anyways, my point being this game really demand you to think diffrent compared to old TW games, no more stacking up tons of knights and sending them in to battle. this game is so freaking cool. you can have a single unit of infantry defend vs tons of cavalery and infantry as long as you think.
btw few bugs i've encounter so far are : CTD (not a big deal really) graphic error where i get really crappy fog and colour remove on winter maps, and black wholes evry where (probably driver related) the one bug that disturbs me the most is the no animation. some units when jumping fences etc are completly num, they dont move a limb just stifly jump over and charge etc. |

Gonna make me a "Music" mod. DLing the soundtracks from "Barry Lyndon" and "Master and Commander" at the mo. Will also look into getting some more classical music for the menus and world map. I think it is pretty simple with that Unpacker/Packer. I will most likely need to use "Audacity" as well, used it a lot when i was modding "Silent Hunter IV"
Another thing I would like to mod are the load screens...but one thing at the time .

Anyone know how to unlock the special forces edition on the retail? I know they opened it on twcenter but they soon deleted the recipe when the devs asked them to.

I posted about it, albeit briefly, towards the end of the previous page, if it's requested I could upload my already modified Main.pack archive as well, nothing else done with it aside from this little edit and it wasn't altered in the patch.
EDIT: That 200MB archive was packed to roughly 43MB so I'll just upload it anyway.

Don't know if this was already known, but i found this on Steam forum (haven't tried it out yet).

Cheers, will look in to that. Got "Barry Lyndon" and "Master and Commander". I guess I will have to push this to Friday due to "Life/Family/Work etc . But I will for sure look in to those.
At what point in the game would chosen music "emerge" ? battle, main map etc...?

Update 1 has arrived.
Didn't change the file version of the exe tho. Still 1.0.
So, for all those using the RZR trainer or the Caliber one (those have unlimited memberships), it should effect it. But units move better no in battle mode.
Next patch is do out next week.

A new version of revEmu has been reelased. (9.72)
You can use the steamclient.dll from there with the loader.exe from revloader to launch the game.

Thats great news.. but the revEmu forum is not accepting new members, so we need to find somewhere to download it.

Tried running it with loader method and the new exe and patch.pack from JBeckman. It starts, but it crashes after the first splash screen.
Anyone else, or does the new exe not like my machine?
EDIT: I must have screwed around with the steam_api.dll, but got a replacement and it works.
Still no release?

It works here with the new exe+patch.pack, exact filesize=18.195.720 bytes , right ?
Oh, LAN+online doesn't work, so don't try that, lol.
