Just enter the code and click on the link. Not that hard
No, I had to untick that yellow-ish message box with the glass and IE icon. Then I can download the thing, but it's 6 hours if you're exceedingly lucky. The download speeds oscillate between 0 and 20 KB/s, and sometimes the server just stops responding.

Anyone playing multiplayer pickup games using Hamachi, meeting up in IRC? I saw a post about this somwhere, can't remember where and can't find it here.

there is no lan in the game,so you can forget about using Hamachi.

There is lan in game and there is possible to play games over hamachi, but you need steam running to play even enter lan mode...
It is a bit pointless if you can play over steam you obviously don't need hamachi.

Started with GB on VH/VH, got creamed by Indians (started the war with Cherokee way too early and Huron declared war with me as well). I was doing all right (fended about 3-4 attacks with decisive victory vs Cherokee) always outnumbered, but they just keep coming... Huron just rushed me with two massive armies...
Going to start again with Russia on VH/M, because I suck at naval battles.
Buy the fracking game.. even if its the only one you ever do.. Im terrible for pirated games but this ones a winner for a purchase, and can only get better with patches/mods etc..
i reinstalled into same folder as before (cracked files already placed etc) and let it install complet (with pointing to sid_2 etc as said above) , only this time, i didnt re-applied the cracked content and started game, and well, wouldnt you know it, i can now continue the RTI campaign .. (so basicly only file remaining from rzr is the crack). Gonna continue to see of there are any triggers etc. Will keep you updated.

I have a 256mb HD radeon 2600xt AGP and I can run the game on high/ultra settings with no problems and very playable fps, lowest it gets is around the 20's. I have honestly no idea why they decided to limit it in such a way but this method should provide a permanent workaround.

anyway, guide for dummies :
1. Make a folder you want etw be installed to (if you havent already installed
2. Copy cracked content into hat empty folder (if already installed and have already, skip, or re-copy, whatever, aslong as the cracked files have been moved at least once lol)
3. Install into that folder. When asked to point to sid files, do as asked for dvd1, for dvd2 , point to _0,_1,_2,_2 in that order.
4. replace the sounds_sfx.pack with the demo3_pack from demo (rename it to sounds_sfx.pack, backup original if you want)
5. play !

disclaimer : this will let you play the RTI campaign, at least so far for me. I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK TILL THE END OR NOT. I also don't know (yet) if there are hidden triggers etc. I'll find out soon enough i guess.
