Hmm, it seems the last two files on DVD2 aren't even unpackaged?
Anyhow, the difference in file size on soundfx may be due to the fact that this includes the special forces?
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

Sound issue.
I found this on releaselog:
The sound works, set the game on "stereo" rather than "windows default".
I haven't decided yet if i would buy or download, but maybe u guys can give this info a try.

I tried stereo and a bunch of other audio settings when I first tried the release because I thought it might be my settings, but it didn't help, at least for me.

the sound "fix" and is within quotes, because is not a proper fix:
this "fix" has been taken from the demo, and add the sounds from the firing guns and canons (these sounds are missing) But just like add at the same time removes some other sounds
U should read a few page back, or just read your own forum

Had my first gentlemen duel against a dirty British bastard - the outcome was fucking hilarious!
It plays the duel in a full motion video sequence (just like MTW2 with Assassins/Spies)....
Anyway, they took a few paces, the Brits musket jammed when he went to fire. He clicked it once, twice, turned it towards his face to look down the barrel, clicked it a third time - BOOM. He shot himself in the fucking face with his own musket! I laughed my ass off for a good 5 minutes! 
The worst part about it was that I thought it was my guy who did that - got the colors mixed up 
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

there is an alternate version of it, same beginning, both guns jammed, both keep checking their gun, then both throw the pistol at their opponent, one evades and the other one gets it into the face. Result , 1 wins, yet both survive "with their honor intact".

2 problems here :
1. Razor won't "proper" their own release. They may (best for us) release a fixed installer, or (less good) a .repack. (you'll have to dl the whole thing again).
2. The release hasnt even been nuked (yet). Which quite frankly i don't understand at all. Either nobody cares or rzr is sucking some big cock somewhere to not getting their release nuked ...

strange - my ETW works ( installed the razor version and veryfied by legit steam key ETW - no files were replaced - game exe starts without steam in retail version to ) no sound issue ( musket and horse souds presents ; like all other ) iam in half of the independence campaign no crash etc
but have other error

No one in the scene even plays these games anymore, it's all "business" to them. That's why games rarely get nuked or fixed nowadays. For usual scener this was just another "race from ftp A to ftp B to earn creds and move on to the next release race".

you could trigger the integrity check, do a manual checksum comparison after it's "repaired" and see if any files but the cracked differ?

i reinstalled (well actually i made a second install) with the above suggestion (pointing to _2.sid) and , havent tried further yet, but it actually end the install "correctly" instead of crashing/hanging.
Gonna try RTI campaign now.
