Regarding that spoiler someone on one of the FEAR community forums pointed out that Alma is around 40 years or so.
Spoiler:
Age of the Pointman and Paxton Fettel plus the progress of the project for psychic commanders and the other experiments with for example Alma or the clone soldiers.
but she died at around 16 and her telesthetic presence is still around that age
you can't age without a body you see
so she's still an underage jailbait
but anyway what a fucking ending
After playing original F.E.A.R. and it's first expansion through, the game had nothing new to offer. A bit more variety in levels, but the same enemies/weapons/scary moments etc.
And it's actually inferior to the first game in some aspects (no dynamic lighting, no hitboxes). And if you shoot a guy in the head with a laser, he gets chopped in two from midsection...
Oh well. Something positive comes from being a console port - it didn't lag at all even with the full visual settings ;z

Biased nostalgic opinion...
I just replayed FEAR1 and playing FEAR Extraction Point at this moment (after finishing FEAR2) and it looks so so so so so much worse. It looks boring and dull, levels are even more boring. FEAR2 levels are interesting from start till the end. Hitboxes feel about the same in FEAR1 and FEAR2, and gore is much better and accurate in FEAR2. Just try FEAR1 now or any of expansions and you'll see how much worse they are in comparison graphically and in level design.

You still can blow up some guy with a shotgun blast, so I'd say that gore isn't that more accurate in FEAR2. The original has more variation regarding gore(kinda unrealistic but much better IMO); the shotguns, grenades and explosives overall tend to dismember the opposition more frequently and with more members flying around than in FEAR2.
There's one thing that's much weaker in the sequel: gun sounds. In FEAR each gun sounded much more real and loud than in FEAR2 (both shotguns should be renamed to Stealth Shotgun, it's that bad ).

You have seen someone blown apart in F.E.A.R. 2 with a shotgun haven't you? In the original, it was instagib, in the sequel, you get the legs attached to the upper torso only by the spinal cord. Or when you shoot the compression tank on the ATC soldiers and they take off half of their body. The sequel is much better in terms of gore.

Kind of a dark video, but you can see clearly it happens in the 3rd kill.
The sequel is more realistic in terms of gore, that's what I said too. But I wouldn't qualify ALL of it as accurate.

Finished the game a few hours ago. Very good gore fest shooter. Much better than F.E.A.R. 1. One of my favorites levels was the one with train, and levels platforms. Wish more shooters had much more huge machineries, you activate one a lot of thing starts moving and you whoah that thing is huge
Just finished..and I must say WOW! This was GOOD FPS! Intense , keeps you going , "just one more level" feeling...Havent played something like this in a long time.
Unsure if it's for PC as I don't have the game installed at the moment (Completed it and took most of the awards as well aside from the MP related ones.) anyway Monolith has released a little (Haha) map-pack for it with three new MP levels.
