Yes there are female deers.

And you should shoot them in the neck, they die instantly.

change your password to make sure your not doing something rediculous.. then if that fails email donna at support and she will sort it out for you,,

My accound went corrupt as i was sorting it out when they took servers down.. took me 2 days to get a new VIP sorted.

Just regeistered. Gonna play DH'05 until I get the code. Kinda like these kind fo games. No stomach (or morality) to go real hunting, but love the virtual fields. Smile

The problem with hunting is real life is that it's all fun up until you actually shoot the damn thing. It all goes down-hill from there when you have to gut the fucker out, and then drag it 30 miles back home. Not fun.

Game won't run, I get the loading screen then crashes to desktop. Also the file "failed to unpack" when downloading, I had to manually install from the 2009012801.exe file.

There isn't any kind of bugs or technical forum in the main forums for the game?

Vista 64 bit.

I got the same crash to desktop until i downloaded .net framework 2.1 but its only needed for win xp, must be included in vista

I paid for this just to see what i would get. Just bought the 12$ for 3 months

It said I got unlim. ammo (though i don't know how it gets replenished), some camo clothing, the licenses for hunting whitetail and turkey, and a magnum and a shottie. I'm gonna shottie a deer, why not you can carry two weapons. Anyways I also got two wind detectors of 50 uses each. I think it's quite lame how you have to pay for that, since it seems pretty important..

Game is good otherwise, I'm now officially scared of deer sneaking up on me. But I nailed one in the brain at 25 feet, hah, stupid forest cows.

Is there a section on the website that tracks your kills? Haven't been able to find one.
There's the leader boards, but good luck finding yourself in that fucking list.
What's the point of getting the kill if you can't share or log it?

I have to admit though, I am extremely impressed with the graphics. Simply fucking beautiful. I can almost smell the foliage....

Gave it a try, gave me a limited account or "guest" as it's also called, basic equipment with three boxes of ammo and some clothes and a standard rifle plus a "unlimited" license to hunt bucktail or what the name of that animal was (Some deer creature.)

Looks great and seems pretty realistic runs good as well but guest accounts are very limited as aside from the above you have no aides aside from a basic call lure and the huntermate GPS tracker.
(Tracks are also very highlighter and easy to spot.)

"unlimited" license and why I call it that is probably valid only until you run out of ammo as you can't do much more after that from how I've understood it without subscribing to "Warden" status. (Which costs quite a bit.)

Could be a interesting hunting sim though but I haven't played that many so I wouldn't be that knowledgeable about it. Smile

EDIT: Also the program is in two parts a launcher which doubles as a torrent p2p downloader for the actual game and also communicates via the game and website in order to be able to play it.
