The game has nothing to do with a rpg imo. It's a pure hack&slash game. Only rpgish touch comes from the forgotten realms setting. I must say I like it tough. It's very short. i played yesterday for about 5 hours and I'm allready level 8. And as far as I can tell there are only 10 levels. Controls are decent for a console game on pc. All the combos are pretty useless for me though. The battles are simply to massive in comparisson to blade of darkness eg. My rating untill now.
graphics 7/10, very nice player/monster models, but ugly surroundings
sound 7/10, nothing special really, nice they licenced patrick stewart
gameplay 7/10, simple hack&slash action, but enjoyable, fucked up camera
so overall 7/10

Chapter 2 is easy. Wait until you try chapter 5. The jungle and dragons lair is the toughest stages in the game. Fucked up thing is, I cant kill the Spider Queen in chapter 5. Your supposed to stand back at a distance, and use Illius's spells to kill her. But no health gets taken away at all. Your best spell is lightning bolt so far. The only thing that seems to hurt the queen is Ranneks axe throws, but you only get 10. This is fucked up. Theres no way to kill spider queen.

Charged bolt? Theres only two spell weapons at chapter 5... fireball and lightning bolt. Fireball you cant use once you upgrade to lightning bolt.

what i cant believe is that the font is so fuckin old school. come on, it's almost 2005 and they are still making those ugly 2D fonts in games!!!???

Ok I got it. I didnt realize you had to hold the button in to charge. I also dont like how they make you use the latest spell you pick from ur list. Thats lame.

Hmm... now I'm at the Siege Of Mithral, some Ice Fort. I'm playing Drizzt and have to stop ice thrower trolls from breaking the barracade. Been slashing and killing all night long, still fail to stop them from breaking the door down. Anyway past this? You have to stick your sword in the fire first, than swing. But it seems to take 5 knockdowns to kill even one troll.

NVM, just beat it. Its average. Woulda been better if they let you choose the spells you could pull off. I think they rushed the gameplay just alittle bit. 8 Hours to complete. 4 Hours was spent on that dam ice fort.

I beat it without a faq, except for a tiny bit of info I needed for Ice Fort.
Chapter 2 is the cave. You have to defeat all the enemies. Theres a quota to win.

i'll have read on a other site that same other user have the same problem how I
They have wrote this and other things about the problem in chapter 2
"i recently bought this game for the pc and what a surprize its buggy i get boxxes to attack instead of orcs in the 2nd lvl and cant get through the opened up hole in the wall so i cant go any further in the game maybe they should test their completed products before they ship to the public "

Damn, trying other drivers did not help. Well there is nothing left in that case than just sit and wait for the patch (and play some other games at the same time of course  )

HElp I'm stuck right at the start at Gemspark Mines. I come to this brigde which is open. I am told to use a 'charged range' attack,
How the hell do u do this and with what character? Stuck on this for two days!
