Hotfix is meant only for the previous update, probably won't work on it's own, DELTA files are the files that were updated in the patch without overwriting the existing files, mostly just for the larger archives.
French and similar localizations of the patch would require a lot of work as the game is localized in quite a few languages which would usually be choosen depending on the language used for the Steam program itself or in the case of the "released" versions what was used when unpacking the container archives on the disc.
Sorry that I can't be of much help but it's a bit cumbersome with Steam as it downloads the updated files directly instead of a common patch install file or such.

I applied JBeckman's update+fix and went through ~12 missions to complete the game.Everything works fine, but not on Vista =_=

I dont know if any mentioned it, but the "-disable32bitcheck" works by adding it to rev.ini.

This patch really messed my campaign up. I remember I had some missions with only 2 days left, they're gone and replaced with ones I have 4 or 5 days left on. And for one of them, the reward is a default Power Armor :/

erm wtf
w/o the patch installed I can launch the game via xlive_start.exe,
so I d/l the 1.1.0 patch + the hotfix and the vitality laoded.exe and now it doesn't launch anymore.
Where should you extract all the files?
I have tried them in the steam folder, the main folder...

for some strange reason i reached a point in the game i have to reach planet meridian but when i try the travel planets the planet isn't there and i cant continue the campaign anyone else have this problem?im at level 13 on this mission cant seem to move to next planet it isnt listed on the planet screen:(

Also, they blacklisted beta keys, wasn't able to activate the game for the second time.
So you need a legal/ The Club key.

Well, this really sucks, I'm gonna have to start a new campaign. All my squads were lvl 13 and had some great gear too..
The patch is definately not compatible with older saves.

The patch is compatible with older saves, i've completed the game today with the saves from day 1 of the leak.
Wicked, you play on XP x86? I have your release+JBeckman patch files, hotfix file and it works fine =_=

Yeah, you're right...But all the missions after it worked fine..I was stuck on the angel forge mission before i patched the game and switched to xp to be able to finish the game without constant crashes.

The simplest way: Run cracked steam, run game EXE.

No, I finished Greenskin Weaponsmith before I patched my game. My problem is, that the mission order is all messed up. I have a mission to both find the Astronomical Array, and defend it for example. And before I patched my game, it said I had 4/5 gene samples, now it's showing 2/3. It also wants me to defend Angel Forge when I haven't even killed the Eldar Farseer.
My rewards for missions are also messed up. One is a default Power Armor, and another is a Supply Drop, but it doesn't have an image or a description as to what it does.

Hmm i have the ViTALiTY version and it doesnt work it requires a product code on steam i entered beta dow2 key and sega but none of'em are working . Tried with the install.exe from vitality folder and it doesnt want to extract . Damn

Btw, how exactly does having a cracked Steam work?
