I don't understand who would like this game.. What's more boring than a ninja game with giant spiders and other stupid monsters.

This is an amazing game. Truly a masterpiece, if I didn't have so many meetings today, I would probably be at home playing right now with a 6 pack.

I want to play this game. Scared of getting banned for it though, since it's not released for a long time.

Hey guys..how does autosave work for you ? I played until i reached the spider boss...then tried it 2 or 3 times and shut the box down thinking that everything would be autosaved... but when i turned on my box a few hours later the only autosave was at the beginning of the game. Either im stupid or my box / hdd is messed up... or do i need to save manually ?

Anyone got past that big ugly worm? Just can't seem to hit that thing, it touches ground just for a split second.

Mission two. I've killed the spidey thingy, the impaler leech and than there is a worm that looks kinda like Shai-Hulud from Dune.

The first part - one worm swinging back and forth. Am I supposed to hit it when it touches the ground and that's it?

Yup you wait for him, and burst when he's close to you.
I had a hard time first if i'm thinking of the same part you're talking of, at first i ran on the walls to go on the highest floor, and didnt get to hit him.
Then i found a place where he attacked me on a different pattern, and it was easy.
It"s a place where you have a little wall to run on the right like 2 meters high, and you switch between the down an upper floor.
Hope my english is understandable ;p

tbh I think the spider at 2nd mission was worse than the other bosses. Its always about using the right sword.

But other than that I can't remember much pausing, the game realy whizzes along at a high speed, I kept on playing waiting for a pause or end of level so I could turn itoff but there wasn't one. |
no i didn't mean pauses before quicktime events, but for example there are a few parts in the demo where the ninja dude does a big wire swing in a cutscene and it justs freezes for a few seconds. so if they are gone in the retail version, that makes me want to get this game even more!
now where's the rls? |
Bushwacka sorry to say mate but they are still in the game, I didn't even notice it before you pointed it out, now they stick out like a sore thumb, thanks mate
It literally a second, and in a way it does give you a slight pause between the non stop action.
One beef I do have with the game is that it seems you can only save after missions, not mid way thru, I had to do the whole 1 st mission again today, c os I thought checkpoint = save, it doesn't. And with the 1 st mission taking me 49 mins I think that's a long ass time without a save. |
I told you about saving last week

If you die in a mission, do you start again from the beginning of the mission or from the last checkpoint?

Start from the last checkpoint, and don't worry there are loads of checkpoints

Yes you start from the last checkpoint then. But when you turn off your xbox you have to play again from mission start. The game only saves after complete missions. That means you always have to defeat the final boss before saving. That's the only negative aspect of the game.
