If some of those beta keys that Steam gave away work, then odds are that all of them do and the people that can't use them are just doing something wrong. |
I wrote down 11 keys - 3 from when the beta first started, and 8 more thereafter.
I went through all 11 - not a single one worked...

Anyway... the version in-game says 1.1.1., wasnt it 1.1.0?

The crack with this game is using a Steam loader, and it is required with or without an MP key.

it seems that GFWL have the most poor Online protection
that I ever heard of.
if it allowed you the play any other games that using it online with just one key.

So the keys you steal from DoW2 beta, works with every game excluding only the same DoW2?
EDIT: Is the Vitality release multi language?

DOW keys won't work anymore, the game could only be activated for a brief time after beta was over, then they just blacklisted them. Although if you managed to activate it quick enough(yay, go leaks go!) then you got yourself permanently working game.

rofl, i just remembered i had written mine down because i heard about this earlier. Activated about 2-3 minutes ago so its definately possible. Its not the key that i got from eurogamer though, i had to use a different key that started popping up a few days after i had installed the game. Luckily i had both saved.

Having a problem with the patch files - When applied directly on the game, the 3.66gig release - it won't run, gives the Relic flavoured Send/Don't Send screen.
Reinstalling the game does not help - have to clear a settings folder, somewhere, maybe?
Tried downloading from both sources - results same.
Doing something wrong here?

As far as I know, the 3.66 GB release is the English-only rip. As a rip, it might not be compatible with patches. Perhaps the patched files refer to the ripped stuff at some point, and the game goes nuts.

Odd. Will test a vanilla copy, maybe something has gone wrong on my system - preventing the game itself from running.
EDIT: Indeed. Game won't run even unpatched. Apparently something has broke, in the past day or two - since i last played it.
EDIT: And renaming the settings folder, in My Documents fixed it. Patch should run just fine now. Will see in a minute.
ONE MORE: And it does work just fine now. Thanks for the rip and upload, JBeckman.

Patch doesn't work with VTY version (if VTY crack thingy is used), dunno if it works or not with that other loader.
