I don't understand. Does this mean that this release Ninja_Blade_JPN_XBOX360-Caravan is region-free? I cannot imagine.

nope.
Ninja_Blade_JPN_XBOX360-Caravan (released end of january)=NTSC-J region lock, maybe even just japanese language
asia version (released feb 12th)=region free and english

ME WANT! Very Happy

Damn I'm actually suprised how much I like this game, I've had this game for over a week, I think it's the NTSC-J version, but all the menus are in English, and most of the speech is in English and all the subtitles are in English.
It's a bit like Ninja Gaiden Lite, the action is non stop and there are a lot of cut scenes where you have to hit the right button, but if you fuck up it doesn't make you go back too much.
I was worried about shelling out 2 quid for this game but I'm glad I did.

just a lil question: in the full game, are those annoying ~5 seconds pauses during cutscenes still there? really liked the demo, but when it stops to load the next level piece during a custcene it kinda ruins the flow Sad

If that's something you worry about your time would be better spent working rather then playing games.

I was kinda joking about the 2 quid, tho 2 quid does go a long way in Bangkok, I could get a blow job for that so you can see my options Wink

About the pausing in cut scenes, I know it pauses a little and shows a close up of his eye when it's about to go into a QTE or RTE (can't remember, press the correct button sequence) which I think is good as it gets me ready to look down and try to forget the PS controller set up and remember the 360 colours.
But other than that I can't remember much pausing, the game realy whizzes along at a high speed, I kept on playing waiting for a pause or end of level so I could turn itoff but there wasn't one.

no i didn't mean pauses before quicktime events, but for example there are a few parts in the demo where the ninja dude does a big wire swing in a cutscene and it justs freezes for a few seconds. so if they are gone in the retail version, that makes me want to get this game even more!

now where's the rls? Very Happy

Bushwacka sorry to say mate but they are still in the game, I didn't even notice it before you pointed it out, now they stick out like a sore thumb, thanks mate Wink
It literally a second, and in a way it does give you a slight pause between the non stop action.
One beef I do have with the game is that it seems you can only save after missions, not mid way thru, I had to do the whole 1 st mission again today, c os I thought checkpoint = save, it doesn't. And with the 1 st mission taking me 49 mins I think that's a long ass time without a save.

always glad to help Laughing
and i couldn't care less about the mission save system - it's the same as in ninja gaiden or devil may cry, so nothing new here.

so the asia version has been out a few days now, still no word about a release?

Is the actual US release for this still set around early April ? I checked a couple sites that still say that, and as much as id love to mess with it now im a little nervous playing a pre-release on my box.. At least while ive still managed to avoid the live banhammer, once it gets me i wont care. lol

[Afterthought]

Along those lines of thoght.. Its perfectly legal to order a region free game from another country isnt it? So that would kinda eliminate any worry that the game is being played on U.S. boxes prior to U.S. release..

Im new to the xbox scene, can you tell? lol

Lol, i experienced it too the hard way, had to redo level 1 and was pissed about it, but just make sure you complete a mission then it saves and you can start from the next mission.
