This is what having a tank of napalm on your back can do to you when it explodes.
I think he broke his spine
I love this game, it's very frantic and quite scary in places.

DIE release not working for me...install goes fine, copied crack over original but when I try to start the game it gives me "...failed to start because X3DAudio.dll was not found..."
Anyone else getting this same error, or did I miss some crucial step...(?)
Thx

I can confirm. DIE release + DIE crack. Works like a charm with blood, gore and everything needed.

Yeah, I solved those lines by setting Anisotropic Filtering to "Use application settings" instead of forcing it to 16x.

You have to edit the rev.ini file and change the path to your Steam install.
Example, my rev.ini:
Quote: | [Loader]
# Specify the name of the application to load.
# You can also specify the command line.
#
ProcName=FEAR2.exe
# Specify the location of the original steamclient.dll
# which comes with Steam client
# You can comment this line out if the game doesn't use it
#
SteamClientDll=E:\games\Steam\steamclient.dll |
I downloaded the Steam client, created a new account and installed it to E:\games\Steam.
In other words, you have to have Steam installed first.

I´m using my legit steam and there is no problem.
You don´t need to have steam running, just point the directory of it and you´re good to go.
