Yeah, that's why I'm gonna think twice before I buy ATI card next time cuz I'm very disappointed with their driver support. Sad

you say that, because you have a multi gpu card, and ofcourse not all games work so good on that hardware..

Only a bit when the game saves. Overall it behaves as a really well-optimized peace of software (1680x1050, Maximum, 4AA, 16AF). Smile
Beat only the first interval. A bit consolish game. Also playing the game on normal. On that particular difficulty the bots are dumb. Can't imagine what they are like on easy. Laughing That's why before i go deeper into the game i'll switch to hard mode. Surprised

check the rev.ini
edit this line:
"SteamClientDll=C:\Users\Amer\Documents\Downloads\F.E.A.R.2\STEAM\steamclient.dll"
To lead to your fear directory and to this file.

Make sure you have the loader on the same folder as the fear2.exe, and run the loader from the folder.

Don´t use shortcuts

The funny situation here with me is that i don't start the game from the loader but the fear2.exe. I get an error too when attempting to use the loader. Thank god it started from the original exe. Smile

That's not the only reason. Before Catalyst 8.12 the card was simply overheating which means you could fry an egg on the rear panel. At idle, the temperature was 82-90°C! This was way too much man! AMD said: don't worry people this is the 'normal' working temperature. Well, after so many customer complainings, ATI released Catalyst 8.12. This time temp dropped bellow 64°C! Mad Ok, hardware is superb but their drivers are bad. Sad

Edit: Sorry, this was a little bit off topic. It was my 2 cents about ATI.

Make your own "fan" profiles in CCC or dl "Riva Tuner". I run my "Desktop/general use" @ 40% fan speed= 50c, gaming profile @ 60%=70c max.

I used RBEditor to edit the firmware with better fan-behavior.
