btw watched sex drive last night 6.5/10 had some good moments that made me laugh
but I ain't a fairy so the romance kinda makes a movie blow for me, especially at the end.

Baby Mama 6/10

But I'm a sucker for anything SNL related.

Time Cop 3.5/10

Rewatched it after seeing JCVD and then you see what a shitty actor he really is haha Very Happy I laughed so hard when he got the news that she was pregnant "Great, hug, ok on with the day".

6 is not a bad rating, I found it entertaining but also pretty generic.

Let the right one in

6/10

Let me start off by saying I think this movie is VERY over-rated and IMO, poorly acted. It was so obscure and weird, the only thing I enjoyed was the bleek atmosphere. I really dont know what all the hype was about, the story was slow and predictable, nothing we haven't seen before here either. Some obvious taboo taunting with the child scenes which IMO was just lame.

I watched it til the end but Ive seen far better and expected so much more after all the hype.

City of Ember - 6/10

Intriguing story but the plot-holes and execution didn't help it. Obviously the movie is also a metaphor but couldn't figure out whether it represents a religious allegory or something more general like man's fear of the unknown.

Why? This is a thread where people state their opinions on movies based on taste and not education or knowledge within the film genre. He can say it was the worst movie he had ever seen and he's entitled to.

Sex Drive - 7/10

...is what I landed on. Really funny at times but too stupid and some bad acting dragged it down.

And why the hell does the fat guy with bad hair and glasses get all the chicks in this movie, its not really realistic Razz

ok. First of all i will categorize it as lets say.. 'non hollywood horror/thriller/drama'.

Films I think that are better within that category are :

À l'intérieur (Inside)
Audition
Pans labirynth (sort of fits the cat)

loads more but its 2 AM almost and im tired Smile

And that's precisely why it kicked ass. It has so many subtle qualities that requires some sophistication from the viewer. And even then it's not something everyone will love, taste differs. Personally I loved it for the mood, the atmosphere, the awesome work by the child actors.

Really nothing special, so they kill some animals. then have mad animal sex... but really nothing special (not that you could really expect sth from this sort of movie)...

Taken 9/10.

This movie has been around for quite a while now but despite the reviews, I wasn't completely sure that Liam Neeson would still be able to do the action hero bit(it's been a while since Darkman and even that wasn't a full out action movie).

Not only is Neeson able to pull it off, he also carries the entire movie on his back. Had it been another actor cast as the main character and I'll bet that this would be another mediocre movie.

Well... kind of.
Maggie Grace's is nice but some of the stuff she did was a little weird... Just like somebody said in another site she's ok but she looks like a hunchback when she's running. Laughing
