It was "Christmas 2007", two years ago. Then it was "Coming 2008!!" then it was "Q4-2008!!!!!1111" ... then it was "Spring 2009!!!" and now? "Summer/June 2009!!!"
It's bollocks. The game is never coming out. DNF and Alan Wake will be out before this.
Prototype has shown the same gameplay trailers for the last two years ... and they don't keep us updated, at all, they just regurgitate the same nonsense month after month.
As for Alan Wake's developers? It's being developed by REMEDY! I'm pretty bloody certain they're "nice" developers considering the games they've given us in the past

I've also been following the game since it's announcement, yet the difference is I don't act as if that means the developers owe me anything. The game will be released when it's finished, as long as the delays are for the right reason it can only be a good thing for the final product.
It's not as if whining about it will make any difference. Also please stop making bullshit claims, they've released a fair amount of trailers over the development period. Just because you seem incapable of finding them does not mean they don't exist. Two were released a couple of days ago.

Have you seen the two new trailers? They show a fair bit of game play from the 'demo'. Plus if you check out the user movies of prototype on gametrailers you can find a few unofficial trailers of more game play from an older build.
I know how frustrating delays can be, but if the developers deliver a superb product at the end of it you'll be a lot happier the if they released a buggy unfinished mess 6 months earlier.

My major gripe, bud, isn't just with the delays. Delays happen, it's a part of gaming. My gripe is with the constant "in your face" attitude .. releasing the same rehashed trailer (if you watch the trailers, you'll see they're all from the same movie - just cut differently), some new screenshots every xxx months with the words "Coming soon!!!!" like it's the goddamn messiah or something.
I started following this when it was announced in 2006, saw the constant "coming soon!" and, understandably, got excited. It sounds like an awesome game. I just don't like being led like a donkey chasing a carrot, yanno? I wish they'd either shut up about the game, or get on with releasing rather than the constant teaser stuff.
... oh and please don't even get me started on their Hollywood-esque "countdown" timer they had on the site. What did we get at the end of this awesome countdown? Yippe, another trailer! :-\
(anyway, I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm always bitching. I'm just tired of waiting so long for a game I've really wanted since announcement, just like Huxley and Borderlands )

I dont read the PS mag btw, anyway ofc i dont know if its gonna be released but do you see me making 1000 posts about it ? Cause you have alot of posts in this thread claiming its not gonna be released, but in the end u dont know shit, cause your just a gamer not a fucking developer on the Prototype team...its ok saying you opinion about the game not being released but bringing that shit over and over again makes you look like some retard who needs attention
