I fail to see why it matters, to be honest. Let them doctor the screenies to make FEAR1 look worse.. why does that matter? It's not as if FEAR2 doesn't look better already (because it does, doctoring or no) and everyone who's already played FEAR1 knows how it looks anyway.
The article was dumb and WB/Monolith were dumb for editing the shots :-\

There's no actual proof they edited the shots, just the opinion of the creator of that article. Personally I can't see much of a difference between their shots of FEAR 1 and the press release shots.

I agree, the shots of FEAR in the comparison vids looks exactly how it is on my system when running at max settings, and his screenshots of fear do not look any better than the video.

Wasn't this game supposed to go via Steam, unsure about actual protection though.
(Might further differ for various regions so it's hard to say what the RUS version uses.)

steam version is 50 fucking euros ... i doubt that is cheaper on playcom
