i know i've installed it, but i can't remember what was all about. but i know i liked it! anyway, ... you're installing it too spyke?

Hi, I have an experience of 17 years playing computer games, and IMO, the most professional and better developed RTS games are:
Warcraft III
Dawn of War
I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.

jees, by the sound of it, you no more than 18 years old, with 17 years of ex in gaming ..... warcraft 3? the most professional and better developed game? right .....
think this guy is a hardcore DOTA player .... otherwise it makes no sense
Dawn of War ... previous post says a lot about the game (but you can win with just a few units). anyway, this one rocks! |

My vote goes for Company of Heroes. The rock, paper, scissor nature of the units and combos makes this one a classic.

No you also vote based on your own opinion or impression about said candidate, noone can now everything about anyone just as well as everybody can't know/experience or share the same opinion based on the same public facts, theres always fragmentation in information public or not.
This goes for games aswell.
While some may think and this will also be established as fact that command and conquer was the first mainstream rts game, some will believe it to be warcraft 3 because thats what they experienced first, due to their younger age than the audience who first experienced command and conquer, dune2, total annihilation or whatever.
Everything factors in, age, opinion, past, experience. etc. |

Another recommendation from me would be "Warzone 2100" That was a really snazzy RTS back in the day .. with the wicked feature of being able to build your own tanks and then control them independently. Great stuff.

it's also open source now, including music which is now free under creative commons license.

theres a new renderer in the pipeline that will make the game look even nicer and proper terrain deformation is being worked on as well.
I'll also recommend the Earth 2150 series which can be had for 9.99$ at impulsedriven.com
thats all 3 games in one package.

Rise of Nations
Age of Mythology
I liked that 2 games a LOT.

Your own opinion or impression about candidate OPINIONS. Remember he will think for you, and you are allowing that by voting for him. You will never vote by a candidate without opinions, and if two candidates have very good opinions, and one have 17 years of experience, and the other zero experience, that will be determinative for the final results.

I've been gaming since I was 5 years old, my first comp being the Atari 2600 and the Vectrex. That means TWENTY THREE years of gaming. Does that mean my opinions are more valid and more "correct" than yours?

Ah! it's a competition of ego? didn't noted it! well, I started gaming before your born. Do that make me better than you? no way!!! (anyway, the OP will listen to me first, that for sure) // I will listen to you first now, with 23 years playing, it's plenty obvious you have experience, that's matters.
EDIT: So, I am 15 year old now? well, that will help with my baldness for sure!
