Mini Ninjas

it's the next game by the guys that made the Hitman series and kane&lynch.
hopefully eidos won't fuck their game up this time by trying to mess around with the review scores.

the trailer was cute and I like the art style. I'm looking forward to this. It's rare for the PC to get games of this style.

Haha! That's pretty cute. Looks like it could be fun.

Definitely not what I was expecting next from IO, but it could be a good change of pace.

Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

Looks sort of funny.. but I'd really like to see more serious "medieval Japan" games. It seems every time one is released nowadays it's something mostly comedic like this or Afro-Samurai.

eh, it might be a bit too easy on normal difficulty, but this was just the tutorial, so i didn't expect a challenge anyway.

it looks good, it plays well, it has at least 3 different playable characters (all switchable in real time, like in trine), exploration, swimming, rowing down rivers on your hat, items, spells, potions, recipes for making your own potions, gaining experience + levelling up, special moves, power moves, sneaking, sneaking with a bush a la metal gear solid with the boxes, fishing, tree shaking, bush rustling, destroyable environment, side quests, secrets, collectibles and who knows what else.

i think it's gonna be great.

Store page says September 11th here, of course we might see a rip before then or even the retail release being "released". Smile
(Unsure about protection methods but it's probably rather light, we'll see soon enough I'd imagine.)

Huh. Rhagz had said it was unlocked earlier today, but I just checked and, as you said JB, it won't unlock till the 11th.

Also, I thought it was going to be a rather lightweight game, by the looks of it, but it requires 5.85 GB of hard drive space. That means the release will likely be at least 4.5-5 gigs big.
