You can't be serious! Playing any game at 10fps is not only frustrating but also destroys the gaming experience. It's ok if a PC game drops at times, but an average framerate of 25fps should be the minimum.

For me it's the same. Anything above 10 fps is already playable, 15-20 fps is fine, anything above 20 fps is just a nice bonus but not necessary.

I can understand it when a person says that about fast-paced action games or racing games but RTS games for example play just fine with less than 20 fps, even with less than 15 fps. Doesn't really make a difference there.

I disagree because that is what my point is exactly! there is nothing new therefore nothing is good anymore. GTA4 is the only game this year to have been 'good' and even that is nothing new.

And what do you expect ??? There is nothing more to discover in games...
btw. Mass effect was also nice this year

sorry but ME was released in 2k7

not the pc version.

But yeah, bla bla all you want, Doom 3 had amazing graphics for its time, even if they were dark at times. And admit it, you all pissed in the pants a little when you saw the Pinky eating the zombie's bowels in the bathroom scene in the E3 demo back in 2001.

Way to bring back an ~8 months old thread. And you're going to have to wait. Earliest possible release is New Years Eve 2009. Wink
