Enemies don't seem to make any sound for me, when I fought the helicopter I couldn't hear it.

plays fine here, but, goddamn, dunno if i can stand those typical ue3 colours yet again, especially since the game's pretty generic. got to level 3 and it's getting boring already.

in some russian sites I saw a noDVD already out .
Ii think i can't show the site where i saw it but a rapid search with google will do the trick.
Perhaps it let you change the language in ds.cfg file....

Strange, changing language to FR in the DS.cfg file changed the letters into stars yet the voices were in english.

The voices were in english? You're kidding me, i thought the game only has two english words, and those are in the title.

Guys have strange sound problems...i can't hear almost 70% of game sounds...only my foot steps,dialog,and shooting....something wrong...guess with soundmax drivers...anyone else got it?

Yes the voices are english, there's just no text.
To Holyman: Putting Sound Acceleration on Basic fixed it for me.

you'll be fine without it.
just press space in front of doors or crates. throw your thingy with C at various objects to grab'em, keep C pressed a bit longer to break padlocks. you can also plant explosives with space, once you get them.

Without the text translation?
Since I still want to understand the plot and the like.
So do they have a workaround for Vista 64 yet? Because I might try it.

Starforce is the reason it won't work on x64, right? so if I install the game and use the NoDVD to prevent Starforce from checking, the game will run?

The drivers used to trick star-force only work on x86 architecture due to what I believe is the enforced driver signing under x64 architecture so that's why it won't work, Star-Force itself is digitally signed and verified by Microsoft so it works fine.
(Conflicts with the current Daemon Tools driver and SPTD driver though and will cause BSOD error if tried to emulate a disc with unless the above driver is running.)
