Tried the legit Windows 7 Beta, it lasted all of 20 minutes before I realised my LAN wasn't supported. Bit hard to send feedback to Microsoft without the fucking internet...
And I can't believe there are some of you playing this with a pad! It's an FPS, you console jockey muppets. Eurogamer even says the controls with m+k are much more fluid and responsive with a greater degree of control. You guys should get a 36o and leave the PC's to the grown-ups.

That's true. I tried the demo on 360, then this, and its much better to control. Especially for the quick turn arounds and looking in general.
No need to insult anyone! It comes down to personal experience and comfort with the controls. If someone's more used to controlling an FPS with a controller, he'll pwn your ass even if you're with M+K.

if we take 2 players with similar skill, the one with M+K will kick ass - it's proved by Halo. And that is the reason there are no x360+PC servers. Well, as far as i know

My sons have a PS3 set up on the TV next to my PC and are big fans of the CoD series, and I see exactly how restrictive the pad is for turning and snap-shooting, something that PC gamers (good ones) learn very early on. Your argument is so full of fail that the captain of the fail ship has set sail from fail island and has set up a plank just for you.
In short, M+K is superior in FPS games. Now I'm no fanboy, I use a 360 pad for TR games, Grid and others, but anything that requires aiming? See above.
yea, m+k is much better for fps, but gunplay seems not to be that important in ME.
i tried it with a controller too and running and jumping comes natural and it's very fluid.
you don't need that much precision for a platformer, as you'd need for pulling headshots, so let's not compare it with CoD
I prefer the M+K for FPS as well, but imposing your and my opinion on everyone is stupid. It comes to personal taste and opinion.
OK, fair enough. Just pointing out the futility of stating that pad>m+k for FPS games, when it plainly isn't. That isn't a fanboy thing, it's just plain truth. Of course some people prefer the pad, but that doesn't mean it's superior in terms of control.
Just thought I'd add, the game runs flawlessly on a X24200, 2GB Ram and an 8800GT (apart from the triggers and physX thing) with max settings and AAx4.
To the people screaming for Reloaded or any other scene group to fix the patch. The way I understand it is, the Scene Groups HATE the P2P/torrent scene. They do not do it for us, they do it for themselves. Begging them to fix the patch will not do a thing. I would like to know exactly who releases them to the torrent sites though...

Scene groups release to topsites. People with access to topsites upload to FPTs/torrents/usenet/etc. I used to tease people with saying that VIPs get access to an uber-fast topsite FTP by becoming VIP, but it's not appropriate anymore.

There are reasons why they hate you.
let me say that if the groups wanted the stuff to stay at home, we woulden't able to talk about this now.
this is race and they like to release stuff and to be the first doing that.
this is old story and it will go on as long as video games will be around.
The hate of P2P by scene groups is really pointless and hypocritical. Without P2P to widespread their stuff, they'd never be popular, ergo having no-one to stroke their big egos.

unfortunately many drm patches are uncracked. look to red alert 3 or mass effect for example. anyway good to see the crackfix out. now a crackfix also for LOTRC is uselful
