Mirrors Edge seems to store its config data in here, try deleting the files, and re-launching game

if you are talking about the 9.09.0010 driver, it does nothing to fix the crashes.

Maybe it only crashes if the calculations are done on the GPU

Nope.
Then maybe it only crashes if the calculations are done on CPU.

The 1.0v has problems using physx no matter the calculating device.

No need to test. Mine is set to GPU and it also crashes, ergo, it doesn't only crash when calculations are done on the CPU.

Mine crashes on startup of the game. I only have GeForce 7950GT running with 181.20 and installed PhysX 9.09.0010 just in case (even though I can't use it). Using version 1.00 of the game with the RLD crack. Windows XP Pro SP3.
So what's up with my situation? It seems everyone can at least get ingame.

So just beat the second mission. Gotta say the gameplay is fantastic. It's easy to get totally immersed in the game. The controls are simple, but they offer a lot of depth in controlling the action. Just wish I could afford to buy it to keep playing.

i love ME <3...i've played the training and the 1st stage (Go 2 celes n run the hell out),then the cinematic, loaded n watched the 2nd stage's intro and quitted by myself (Phsyx thingy turned off)..
the game runs smooth n fast, except when you look at lots of environment, but it's not much of a huge FPS drop *Shakes head*
Cant wait to play more..oh yeah, the audio on cutscenes and animations works,no probs so far..
