Here is a dutch site with a bunch of laptops from € 450 - 550
Even if you can't order from the linked websites you can at least get specs and model numbers for 80+ notebooks in your price range, and try and find them cheap in .ro.

well, i've been comparing things a lot and so far, from everything i've seen at a good price/performance ratio, i've decided for this laptop:

Price: 572 euros (quite a lot i must say)
sorry for the romanian language but i'm sure you all understand PC basics . so what do yuo think about it ?

Stop generalising, the new amd mobile cpu's use less power than the intel counterparts.

mainly, i can't say i really need it for gaming.it for my sister. it only need to run games like Sims 2 & Sims 3. i think this are the standards for this laptop i want.
and about that Fujitsu-Siemens .... i don't know ... it looks kinda OK.... though it costs ~600 euros. can't say i really like it because of it's integrated video. and i can't say GMA 4500 is really a video card... it's more like a video processing chip. or at least that is how i've saw intraged video cards
though i must thank you for your opinion swingman
anyway, most likely tomorrow i will buy a laptop. not sure which one but i will surely buy one.

Dunno, but I have an older model of them and it's good. Still working and it's almost 3 years old. Just had to clean up the fan, which was pretty easy comparing it to HP Pavillions where you have to unmount the whole covering. The display is good too.

Mine was from compal, can't say if this one is too. Select notebooks from the left than gaming notebooks.

last call. 2 laptops. just tell me which one you think it's better to buy. most likely the most demanding games that will be played on it will be Sims2 and Sims3 (my sister is nuts )
-FUJITSU - SIEMENS PI 3525 -> 595 euros
-ASUS X59SL-AP222H -> 572 euros

If she want to play sims 2 & sims 3 it should definitly have a good graphicschip! The intel solutions wont do the thing! And I can tell you, sims 2 is very demanding on hardware and sims 3 will need even more power!
