bad news. i begin to hate pc games. you need every time search for cracked patches, proper cracks for drm securom when minimages don't work and are nuked, multiplayer then require a key etc etc for this i got a 360 Razz

Could it be that the prob's kinda related to the Assassin's Creed hardware acceleration prob?,in AC the cutscenes couldnt be heard (even the beginnin' of the game,just BG FXs)..but when u disable hardware acceleration from the control panel (or part of it) should fix it...

Damn,hope they fix this if it's not a sound hardware issue..

No, running Win7 as well with X-Fi Platinum and the latest 2.18 drivers. Tried setting audio to "generic software audio".

No offense to those using Windows 7, but please STFU if you have problems. That OS is beta 1 and its not even certain if it will be released in 2009. If you are going to use a beta OS as your main OS, chances are, you are going to have problems - DEAL AVEC!

a new crack is need to patch it. anyway also the actual reloaded crack don't work properly. it active triggers and you can play only until the 3 th level

EXACT - If you dont like the waiting etc, wander over to direct2drive, steam, bestbuy or whatever and lay your money down. The solution to all these problems is readily available if you'd rather not wait. If not, STFU Smile

For those with X2 cards renaming the EXE to Sam2 or AFR-FriendlyD3D improved performance, disabling AA will further boost FPS to pretty good values.

Can also disable Catalyst AI until ATI fixes this problem via their drivers unless it's NVIDIA that's playing rough.
(I'd say it's driver related, doubt NV would try to make the developers alter code for the game to perform worse as there would probably be consequences if that was ever proven to be the case.)

Most definitively though the game is optimized for NVIDIA hardware and even older cards get good framerates at high settings and resolutions.

On the 360 I found the game to be somewhat lacking. Now after finishing chapter 1 on the pc I know what it is. It was the mouse/keyboard control scheme. I dont die as much thanks to the mouse and keyboard. Thank you DICE. As a silent tribute to you guys for keeping pc gaming rocking, I have decided to buy the game...
