You can play single player, there is an option for split screen but it's disabled in the demo.
Game is actually pretty good, I was surprised, allows you to change class on the fly at flag points. Interesting stuff.

If you give the multiplayer a chance it's actually good fun, especially in the more open map of the shire. I managed to become the Witch King one time and it was great kicking ass while riding a warg. It's a nice change from the FPS that seem to be the online standard.
I think I'll probably get this, now I just have to persuade a few of my friends to join in.

I was looking forward to this game until some days ago when I found out it's just another mp focused Battlefront crap with a LOTR skin. How disappointing! I thought it would be a new sp action game like Two Towers and Return of the King. :-/

So is the Allstars rel working or not? I don't care about the scene bullshit, the sole meaninig of their existence is to supply working releases for us.
