How do you figure? PC games all come with unique serial keys .. it's not so hard to believe that burned media has it's own, unique, identifier -- just like StarForce protected disks have.

you wouldn't be able to play games on a friends xbox? I guess if there were enough keys of the same kind it would look fishy. Very doubtful this generation...

And why would they. It's because of piracy Xbox 360 is so popular.

I mean unique SS on every DVD, not serial key printed on the box. If they wanted to burn every DVD with different SS they would have to create master disc for every single copy. And I guess that's not cheap and fast. |
And besides - CD keys are just generated and stored on ALL DVDs, meaning they just need to send out one of they keys to each customer. You can still use any other key on your copy. A different SS, like Garus say, is extremely different.

I need cooler clothes for my avatar. When are they releasing new/better stuff? I wouldn't mind paying MS points for it either since I never buy downloadable game content.

That was possible before NXE. I could play xvid/divx movies and now too. But still no subtitles support... |
ok. updated as well. no problems so far and really liked it though i got a question.
i play my divx movies from usb drive. most of my movies have two audio stream. they have both english and native language like french. i can only hear english not the second stream. there is a language button on screen while playin but it says action not available like subtitles. is there a way to hear the second audio stream? i used to play my movies with philips upconverting player with no problems but it started giving me problems on blu ray rips.

I have a question regarding premium themes. I purchased a premium theme back in January on my console; Lets call it console 1. Console 1 would display this premium theme while I was connected to LIVE and also while I was offline. All the premium themes are saved to my HDD.
Now when I plug my HDD into Console 2, and apply the premium theme, the theme shows up but ONLY when I am connected to LIVE. When I go offline, the premium theme won't show up. How can I get the premium theme to show up on console #2 while it is offline?
Do I need to first connect to LIVE using console 1, disable the theme and THEN connect to LIVE using console 2 and apply the theme??

Transfer the license using the website ? I don't know if this will work and if it does that it will revoke the license from the first if it ever goes back online . Worth a try though I suppose

Well my suggestion did not work. Even after disabling the theme on Console 1 (while connected to live) and then re-downloading the theme on Console 2, it still wont show up offline. I will try Munkeee's idea.
EDIT: IT WORKED! thank you!!
Basically now that the licences from all the previous consoles are transfered to my current one, I have to re-download the themes and it works offline. The only downside is I can't do this process again until 6/26/2010 lol so hopefully I wont have to replace this console until then.
I also noticed my motherboard serial number doesn't match the serial next to the USB ports at the front of the console. Those retards at the repair center apparently dont replace the damn serial sticker with the correct one. Even though this console is registered with the serial number on the outter shell (on repair section of the microsoft site), the internal components use a different serial number so the licenses section of the site displays a completely different serial. But whatever lol its all good at least the themes now work offline

Searched around and found out I was one of those rare cases where it just suddenly failed. One day I could not log into XBL, failed between the xbox and the router. Tried different port and cables, didn't work. Even my old banned 360 get lights when I plug it in. So it kinda sucks... guess thats karma for all my burned games
Been playing live for 3 months on this acrade. The 360 aint more than 5 months tho, so I will eventually send it in. But I hope for a good deal with Xenthalon^^
