A long time ago as a kid I watched two movies that I would like to watch again. The movies might end up to be uber crap Very Happy Nevertheless, please help me to recover the titles.

The first movie was about some lilliput cop that crashed on some planet in a space ship. He had his side arm that blowed huge holes in people. The movie was gory Very Happy

The second movie(or probably mini-series) started with something that happend on Earth and a huge colony ship was build and some lucky souls got the chance to evacuate the planet. During the launch from orbital docks some sabotage happens... Next thing I remember about the movie is the ship successfully arrived at some planet orbit and there was accident that forced emergency landing in escape pods. Colonists whom survived the landing begin to find pods and salvage them. Later they find out that there is something living in the caves(?!)

EDIT: The second movie is Earth 2. (Thanks goes to PumpAction)
EDIT2: The first movie is Dollman (1991).

Bingo ! Huge Thanks, PumpAction !

So, it is a series that got canceled after season 1 Sad There are dolls for monsters ala Farscape, nice Smile Turns out I watched only the pilot episode. In 90's Russia pirates were selling VHS tapes with pilot episodes as if it was a movie Very Happy Now I will watch the whole season Smile

I believe it is hollywood, but not sure . . .

I know the box/cinema image is very close image of a guy with those big ski glasses in a snowy mountain

pff no theatrical release comes to mind. Summer blockbusters with mountain climbing..Only one that comes to mind is Journey to the center of the earth where they climb a mountain but that's an adventure movie with dinosaurs and shit.
