Defiance 7/10

A very good movie. An epic story much needed to be told.

I know it's difficult to portray foreigners in an american movie but it really annoys me that they speak english with an accent. Either you speak the real language ALL the time or you just take a leap from reality with an all english film without accents. At least that is how I feel. I just find it stupid to hear them talk with russian accents when they are together and then russian with the russians. Perhabs it is to portray the difference in them, but why not just let them speak belarusian.

Didn't destroy the movie for me but it was a continuing annoyance. Nice to see Iben Hjejle in it, didn't expect that one.

Great acting perfomances all over. Especially Liev Schreiber.

Curious Case of BB: 8/10 Story kinda dragged at some places, But other than that moving story and good performances

The Most Offensive Comedy Ever Made 2007 DVDRip XviD-FiCO

???/10

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK !
This must be the worst movie I've ever seen. I thought I had dl'd some bad porno watching the first (uhm) 10 minutes!
Nvm, scratch that, this WAS a bad porno lacking the actual PORN.

Also the very first movie I saw 2009. Great.

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

Religiulous: 6/10 - Certainly a very predictable spin. Bill Maher doing the Michael Moore-type of "documentary". I certainly think he has a few points but he doesn't really do anything but spin a pretty one-sided view. He isn't really promoting critical thinking, he is promoting anti-theism. While I have no problem with that, I wish he didn't do it under a guise of just being out to discover some sort of "truth".

I like Bill Maher, but he sometimes worships his own image a little too much, as if though he has some form of complex. With that said, some of the interviews and one-liners of this comedy-documentary are hilarious. I personally would prefer George Carlin's rhetoric to Bill's though. Carlin and Bill Hicks are the only two people who really managed to spin religion in a critical, yet funny way enough for me to give their work a 10/10.

I also think fisk should be unbanned.

I felt the same way, he didn't ask people to think critically for themselves but to accept his point of view as truth. He was close to the point where atheism turns into some sort of "anti-religion religion".
Still, I didn't expect the movie to be a real documentary anyway but just comedy and it surpassed my expectations. 8/10 for me.

Batman Returns 1992 7.5/10. A typical Tim Burton movie. Great performance by De Vito.

Slumdog Millionaire 8.5/10. Oscar worthy.

Michael Clayton 7/10. Sometimes boring.

X-Men 3 7/10. A little bit disappointing. Part two was better.

Gran Torino 8/10. Clint is awesome.

The Bank Job 2008 8/10

Let the right one in 8/10 Good atmosphere.

Sterling performance from Sandler.

The Great Escape (1963) 7/10

Relived my childhood there. Could still remember Mcqueens bike escape clearly even though I hadn't seen it for many years.

Slumdog Millionaire - 8.5/10 Maybe a bit disjointed, but very enjoyable. The way movies should be made.

Fargo (1996) - 9.5/10 Last saw this in the 90's. This movie is incredible. Funny and suspenseful. Worth a rerun, and if you've never seen it, you must.

Great actors, typical 90s yet they somehow managed to get all the computer stuff "timeless" so its easy to understand and still modern today.

Got around to watching Gran Torino

7.5/10

It's not the reinvention of cinema but what it sets out to do it does very well with Clint Eastwood just mesmerizing.

Dirty Harry 2 had a better story, in my opinion. Best one liners were in the first, though Very Happy
