Just not on steam until next year due to a fuck up
"We have just been informed that World of Goo will not be available in Europe until Feb/March of 2009. Copies purchased yesterday in Europe will continue to work."
Apparently they left a clause in saying they can not sell to europe on steam lol

Pre-ordered back in March, so got my copy last week. Really really fun game. They actually decided to use no DRM what so ever on it. I'm really glad with my purchase and it's nice to support small indie developers like this.

This works, but it messes up the interface and game. Too bad.

Yeah its a good game. Some of the puzzles are so annoying, I've had to walk away from the PC a couple of times.

OMG, just thought I'd give this a quick spin and now spent 2.5 hours on it. Awesome game, gonna buy it on Steam once it's available in Europe, really brilliant game. Reminds me a bit of good old bridge builder but still is entirealy different.
Awesome!

Good game, but gets tedious quite fast.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

I love this game ^^ Challenging and original and looks quite good too! The tarball thingies remind me of another game, Gish. Art style is pretty much the same too. Is it the same company?

Wow, the end of 2nd chapter(?) could be so awesome if they wouldn't put in these lame comedy parts. They are pretty talented guys I have to say.

I just finished the game about an hour ago. Very sweet game. We need more well developed games like this.

I just found out about this game, seems like a perfect game to play using a Wacom board / pen.. It's completely in 2D if i understand it correctly?
Anyone tried it with a Wacom board?

I dunno what that is but yeah its completely 2D and should work all the way through with pen'ish (ha) control. Someone somewhere said something about it working with EEE tablet(?) if that means anything to you, i again have no idea

Spoiler: | nothing major, a joke that your cookies may or may not be deleted, then next time you speak to mother, she starts as if you didn't speak to her before. You can try yourself just by replaying that level again. |

Thx, I tried to re-play that level, but mother just wasn't there anymore.

A wacom board will just function as a mouse in the game. You could use one though - and as long as you set it up right (to correspond to the resolution in the game) it might be more precise (where you click on the board is instantanous as opposed to linear movements to and from locations A>B) but you won't have any other benefits.

Nah didn't like the game mechanics that much.
I hope someday someone will make a really fun 2D physics game, such as that demo where you can draw stuff that directly turns into physics based objects, you can link them together, choose their material, weight etc to make all kinds of crazy inventions.. such an awesome idea i think, especially that interface, that you just draw the things you want. can't remember the name of the demo though (i think its from microsoft), i've always wanted a game like that!
