although frustrating , It adds a hell of a lot more tension
Took awhile to get used to it and you learn to cope but I think it makes the game more challenging . The first level of the demo took me 3 tries . When was last time a demo came out that had even a remote degree of difficulty ?

I was also wandering - is the demo set on hard or something, or is it just me ? I can't beat the freak'in "mini bosses". I shoot them, blow some barrels, give tham punches and they're still coming. |

It really is a fucking great game, just as I expected. Combat is supposed to be like it is, it's a hell of a lot more hectic this way, especially when you have some crazy african chasing you with a chainsaw.
The mini-bosses aren't hard at all. Just kill the other enemies first, then go for headshots only on the bosses. Rifle works great, one headshot and the chainsaw guy is stunned. Also remember to keep your distance, no matter what.
The demo is a bit easy imo, after you beat a level once, it's a piece of cake really. IIRC, they said that the AI was toned down for the demo, to let casual players enjoy it more. One thing I really hope they add to the full game, is to add an option that if you play as Sheva, you don't look over your left shoulder. (It's pretty cool how they made Chris right-handed and Sheva a lefty) It's such a pain adjusting to Sheva after you've been playing as Chris.

I saw it after writing smartass, but I didn't feel like correcting Engrish is not my native language, so I make mistakes. But I don't think I'm hopeless and people got the meaning. There's always someone... god 
About the game. I played every part of RE, and it kind of looses it's character. It's more and more about clumsy action and less about puzzles. In the old days it was the other way around. I finally killed the "mini-bosses" from the demo after a few tries, but if they want to have more action in the game, they should give some abilities to the player. I know I'll play the full version, because the story will probably be interesting, but I also know I'll swear it to hell! |

For f*** sake, I've downloaded 2 versions of this demo allready, burned them in a content folder but when I trie to start in on my xbox I get cannot start "chineese bullcrap".
I've even changed my account to an japanese one, downloaded the demo and then It sais I cannot play it on a PAL console.

It works fine on a PAL console. You can't dl it by making a japanese account. You can't go on Live while playing the demo, either.

Okay a lot of strange things are happening. You can't be connected to LIVE when playing this anymore for some reason. However, just a few days ago I was connected to LIVE when playing the demo. It even showed up on mygamercard.net that I played Resident Evil 5 demo.
Right now when I try to play the demo while connected to live, it gives me an error. But if I switch to an offline account, it plays.

Region demo releases are crap , hey nothing new with Live , hey why not release the demo after the game is released , thats why renting most console games are your best bet.......

There's always an excuse coming from the Sony direction. Why so many in the west have an affinity towards Sony is quite mind boggling, such fanboism to a scale never seen before.
Sony can stick it.. £500.00 for a cutdown version on launch in the UK broke the camels back for me, I mean that really shows the respect Sony has for it's European buyers....none what so ever.
So Sony boys stop with fanboism, it's really weird.

Why not? It's not like the demo for the PS3 was released a year ago and the 360 one only last week, where it was given time to mature and look better.
The only people that would whinge about that site .. are PS3 fanboys, incensed and irritated by, yet another, poor port.
Don't blame the admin of the site, blame Capcom and Sony.

Typical fanboy answere. This comparison shows how much more difficult the PS3 is to work with, especially considering that one of the RE5 devs recently claimed that he did not find the PS3 especially difficult to code for.
Fact is that within the same development timeframe the PS3 version did not mature as well as the X360 one. You can hope that these issues will be solved in the following months, but that such problems still exist at the end of 2008 (after three years of "next-gen game development expirience") is proof that something is wrong with the PS3.
