Im trying to take scenes out of a movie and then putting them all together piece by piece for a short music video.

Agree, with Premiere you should be able to do this in about 10 min or so.

I used Premiere CS3. I like it a lot thanks for recommending it. Its pretty much like Windows Movie Maker except it doesn't suck.
