WTF?

I only just noticed that! Damned weird. Perhaps the forum doesn't count the extra view if additional replies were made by the same person without navigating away from the page?

I'm sure its a mistake. Notice how topics with 4-5 replies have around 300 views yet this one with 18 pages has 500...

Sorry for the OT bullshit Laughing

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

I've tried the clone and it didnt work for me. Downloaded every version there is.

Battlefield.2142.EMUDVD-Unleashed <- That works for me with just mount and play.

When still in XP the disk needed to be in drive. Mounting resulted in no disk. There was some thing with different chipsets and/or IDE drives. I'm all SATA, it might help. Had IDE dvd-rom in XP days, but SATA HDDs though.

New patch is coming
Quote:
* No DRM method on the exe as with BF2 (No more SafeDisc, PACE or SecuROM (depending on which version of BF2142 you have) and no more errors from EADM saying you need to log in to EADM to verify ownership even if you are logged in)
* Operation Blue Pearl
* Two brand new maps from community modder Jason Brice (more on this later)
* Northern Strike will be available to EVERYONE

Great news, always wanted to play Northern Strike but refused to pay for it. Evil or Very Mad

I just hope this patch comes before BC2, similar patch for BF2 was in development for a year.

Just when I was sure I'll never play it again.. Very Happy 1165hours played, ziis that some serious value for money. Bought norther strike too, but stats say it's only under 85 hours. It was worth the price (5$) just the get quick unlocks to the main game and mine bait.

Problem with it was that if a server ran all maps, half of people dropped out when NS map game and after a while just couple modes and maps of NS was played. Now that it's free for all (and new for many) will surely get more action on those maps too.

As BF1943 is delayed to next year, this can keep me busy while waiting BC2. Seriously they funked up the BF1943 release. I see no point in buying that if it comes just before BC2. Release it now (well couple months back) or not at all and use the development time on BF3.

1165 hours OnBoard wow Shocked

Well I have less hours played but this game already holds a special place in my heart among other online FPS games. Many people hated it, but let's face it, many BF2 players also hate BF1942 so...
