Coop over hamachi, on 1.14. Do I need to do anything specific for this?
I got 1.08 installed by hex editing the patch. How would I go about getting the 1.14 patch to work?

Just use a keygen. Worked like a char with the 1.14 patch
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I did buy from play.com 2 weeks ago, (other game though (valkyria Chronicles on PS3 / Awesome game by the way)
Received it no problem after a week, and I do not live in the UK (Dublin)

I tried that I get the freaking turn into a bird thing...it works with the patch before though. I think I'm going to buy this after all. It is a good game after all (at least I think so)

I sincerely immediately went and found a digital download store to buy this game for $29.99 after seeing the mod.
I will be buying the sequel as well most likely.
Can't wait to try that out.
I swear I was just sitting here thinking how I wish I had an awesome war sim when I saw this thread. Thumbs up.

out of all the games I have installed on Vista 64. . . this is proving the most aggravating hunk of shit so far. Must be the digital download. I am on the verge of contacting my credit card company. Damned thing wont even show any life of starting when I click the .exe.

1.14 fixed the 4 gb ram on vista x64 prob for me.
'5214 - Fixed: ArmA is now compatible with Vista x64 with 4 GB RAM.' from the 1.14 changelog.
no black screen since installed, no maxmem command or windows mode.
@ iNATAN, yer m8 some do, but probably not so many on these forums.

It still affected graphics card with over 1GB of memory though so it wasn't fully fixed.
(I used a ATI 2900XT 1GB back then.)

Well. None of the fixes help me.
I am sure it is my new rig because it's an i7 920 with GTX 280.
I am sure the game really doesn't like it.
Fortunately, I have a windows XP computer sitting behind me I can install it on. But I really wish they had made this known on their purchase page.
Very tempted to try and get my money back and bitch to my credit card if i have to.
Of course, i could also try to install windows XP on this machine and dual boot. . . but i hate to do it for one freaking game.
Ah well. First game I have ran into that just will not run at all on this rig. i am sure there will be more. this game does absolutely nothing. Click the icon to start and nothing. It shows up in task manager and that's it.

I havent turned into a seagul so far. But I used a keygenerator and a crack to get it running in Vista 64 (used the loader to get it into windowmode) and it works great.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Well... thats another thing. i am failing to see a "loader" in the directory. i must be missing something due to sleepiness.
