23. Watching "Dinner for one" (nor title: Grevinnen og hovmesteren) and eating porridge with the family.

24. watching Tri orísky pro Popelku. Most of you probably know it as Three wishes for Cinderella. When I was younger I always watched "Reisen til Julestjernen". Donald duck (snowball war) and Ferdinan (some Swedish cartoon).
Anyway Tri orísky pro Popelku is most important! ^^

...And of course eating food with teh family.

So what are you doing?

24 watch people flip out, anxiety attacks, plates smashed on the walls, then everyone sits by the table, say grace, sip wine, eat, then sing x-mas carols. Too drunk to remember what happened.

25th repeat... more yelling, more plates, more liquor less singing.

First sober xmas tho. I'll write in my diary about it:p

xmas dinner with family, relax in the couch when the other half of the family comes, coffee and shit + same old damn programs on the telly, then the obligatory gift time, more tv and cookies, then home.

one tradition we got rid of many years ago (and which i'm happy we did) is the yucky lutfisk (fishmeat turned into jelly) as well as the vomit-inducing römmegröt (sourcream porridge with melted butter).

Getting drunk with the family on christmas eve and then getting up extremely hungover way too early in the morning with the kids to open presents.

Been the tradition for the last few years anyways Razz

Bacon Sandwiches and champagne for breakfast (followed by a nice cup of tea)

Queens speach at 3pm (even though no one in the house cares about the queen, its still tradition).

Eating Liquorice Allsorts even though again, no one in my house likes them but its tradition to a) buy them and b) eat them regardless of taste.

We open the gifts around 8-10 on the 24. here. I think most europeans open them 24.

So "chirstmas morning" is not a expression we are familiar with ^^
