I have 6 120mm case fans on this new system.
It is too loud for me. The fans are obviously cheap.

I would like to know if you guys know of any really quiet case fans. It would be even better if you had experience with them and knew for a fact that they were very quiet.
120mm is the size I need. I also need at least one green LED one.

I like Vantec myself. Can't go wrong with their stealth series.

More importantly tho.. I'm guessing you have them all directly plugged in and getting the full charge? If you do, no matter which fans you get, yer system will still sound like a hurricane and push so much air that components won't get cool enough anyways. With 120mm, even 50% is overkill.

So what you need is a fan controller. I just have a simple vantec nexus with 4 knobs, nothing special. With that many you might want a lil better one. Look around and get one that matches yer case and has the features ya want.

Yeah... the air noise I can handle. But these things have a really loud motor hum/squeal that is really getting on my nerves.
I think i found what i am going to go with. i found some fans that use magnetic bearings and have no friction parts. I bought one to see how good it is. If it works well, i will order more. Appreciate the suggestions.
