Welllll.... show me an MMO that *doesn't* involve any of the above, lol. I can handle the grind in Atlantica because the battles are FUN.

im gonna try atlantica too, i like turn based like in FF games and joan of arc on psp.
i have tried most mmorpg games. Even some i paid for original of are now totally free... RF Online and Archlord.

Atlantica was tons better before they introduced stamina. I played the CB. Stamina fails.

So far I've only ran out of stamina once .. and that was after 6hrs of playing. Stamina isn't essential to the game, it just gives you triple exp and more item drops -- and at least it recovers when you're not fighting (or a full reset every 6am)
I never played the CB so I don't know how different it was back then.

Doesn't actually give you triple xp. That triple xp is actually the xp you would normally have in the game, then as an anti no-life measure (sniff) they added stamina to keep people from leveling quickly. It lowered drop and exp rate substantially till you got more stamina. Seems they've tweaked it to be more forgiving from its original form though. during the CB, stamina would run out after ~2hrs of grind. People got pissed, including me, and I quit playing. :/
EDIT - during CB, after stam ran out, you would get NO battle XP.

Sabin what about community ingame? Please tell me there aren't many preteen sasukes or narutos running around commenting on other players mothers  I might even get insterested.

Those Cherry Berries or what you guys call it give you 50% more XP
Anyway im lvl 15 at english PvE server. If there is/will be a nforce guild, please tell me ^^

I'm with the guild called "Soul" -- and they've been exceptionally helpful. I haven't asked anyone for anything, but each of the guildies have given me so much stuff (I've now been trained in pretty much every Crafting skill avaiable, which'll help later in the game) Another thing is that I've met NO beggars yet either. No "itam plz" no "gimme g0ld" nothing.
The battles are awesome, players in the chat are helpful and friendly .. and, a first for me in MMOs, I'm enjoying the crafting system. It's actually USEFUL.

I've mostly been playing PVE in order to beef up my party a little .. but I have had a few PVP battles. Won the first, kicked his ass. Lost the second, got slaughtered. Joined a contest and won the first round, but lost the rest. It's fun, but I'm just not kitted out enough for any real PVP battles yet.

What do you mean, have you played mostly PvE on a PvP server. If so is it "Smatch" ?
Im playing on macantach or what the server was called.

Wait.. are we talking about the same game? Runes of Magic or Atlantica?
There's no dedicated PVP servers in Atlantica, they're all mixed. Game emphasis is on PVE with PVP occurences as and when.

The gfx is bad.
Can't force AA and jaggies are stabbing out my eyes.
There is a lousy fps cap at 30 which makes the game feel realy bad.
Going to check the gameplay now.
