I agree. I originally started it only to poke a little fun. I can't help that a minority of American nforce users perpetuate the fun by displaying absolutely no self-distance while also displaying the lack of knowledge about other cultures (ie. they can't come up with anything to make fun of since they're ignorant about other cultures). Laughing

There's so much that is common in the west whether it's Europe or North America. Heck, North America was settled by Europeans, and is still being populated by Europeans. We're more alike than different. That's why it's so fun to poke at the small peculiarities that differs. A few people just lack perspective and go in all guns blazing to defend something that they should just laugh about. I may start a thread making fun of local silliness. Wink

I don't know if we are the same we don't use the term 'world champion' when someone wins the Champions league in football although it's clear that no other football team outside would stand a chance against the winner, still it would be arrogant because we are not alone in this world there are some good teams in South America as well.

International basketball seems a bit boring and not nearly as intense as an NBA game. That being said, there are A TON of good EU players in the NBA.

Also keep in mind that for whatever reason a lot of American NBA players tend to have big egos, so when you get this bunch of all stars together they don't seem to play well as a team. Nor have they been playing as a team like most of the EU teams, so it's not really a valid comparison.

I think its the champions from all of FIFA's Cups that battle it out for the FIFA World Club Cup. I know that 6 or 7 teams participate.
