when using hamachi
host drop down ingame console and type
sv_lan 0
net_start
sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0
map then type in any map
Who every wants to join drop down ingame console and type connect (hamachi hosts ip)
You dont even need to use steam. I play all the time with westcoast

how do you make a .cfg file for steam games? I put all my commands in there 1 on each line, saved it as myconfig.cfg but console tells me it can't execute it.

skidrow is non-steam. it's an homemade iso with a custom installer so no risk at all

it's very easy to play with -SKIDROW online!
all you need is http://www.epcgaming.com/epcgaming_v2/servers2.php?gameid=28
register (takes 1min) and go to the forum for l4d and read what to do
of course it's without any patches but still not very buggy

I'm starting to get a bit disappointing with the AI director spawning system. I keep noticing the zombies spawning which really shouldn't ever be. Just yesterday I was at the end of the No mercy and while still inside the building my team walked into the elevator room and I was a few steps behind and saw a horde of zombies spawn from the wall and just start rushing at me. They literally spawned before my eyes from a solid freaking wall.

well...shoot the zombies enough and they'll stop spawning from that wall. Jeez, let them do what they want.

small bugs or not, this game plain out fuckin rocks....it should be a purchase for anyone who likes co-op play/online games/zombie games

especially when a tank kills pretty much your whole team and happens to hit a car in front of your exit lmao |

dunno about the console version, but of all my game purchases this year (fallout 3, dead space and others) left 4 dead is my favourite.
I was actually going to buy it on steam again, and gift it to a friend of mine, he wants to play it, but hes skint with christmas an all

ya, I had xbox live free for a month when I got mine some months ago, I used it like twice cause the kids were unbearable.
Thing is, mommy's n daddies will buy their younger kids a 360, where as a 2000+ dollar computer? Theres where the adults are.

CSS was awesome it's first year it came out since all those whiney lil bastards were stuck on PC's that couldn't run source. |

I could deal with the kids in CSS and CS16 ... because if they were being assholes with voicechat, I could mute them -- the reason I quit was because of the sheer amount of hackers. Yech.
